Here is a gallery of my otter pics...these are all the ones I have no chance of selling (not like my others will sell-but gotta start somewhere) so I will post all the 'better' ones next week or so, once I get rejected by the industry.
If I do not get better soon, there will be a huge canon sale at my house.

If you had managed to get all of Amiel into this shot it would have been sick! Like gnarcore.

Anyone know what the story with Sam Hill at the Otter was, he ws down in 21st in the DH, to many winter Cheeseburgers? Peaty wasn't to hot either, although I think he has some kind of stomach bug earlier in the week.

Check out some videos of the Otter over at http://www.konaworld.com/seaotter/sea_otter.htm

Was photography always a plan Stik or has it just kind of "happened"?

Some nice snaps by the way.

Yeah, this Amiel guy looked really good, nice style...I am the king of the 'almost' shot.
Sam Hill seemed either sick, depressed, sad, or something to me, but what do I know...Peaty was still shooting rusty water out of his rear, so not 100%.
Photography, well-when I started my online clothing store, one of my goals was to have nice product images, so I got a 20d and a nice lens-since then I have been hooked-love it. Just wish I would have got into this long ago when I had all these MTB opps.
Thanks

Amiel Cavalier is a right pinner, really nice guy too, which unfortunetly can't be said for all the "fast" juniors/first year pros out there.

You got some nice shots of Romain Saladini too, was he on it? He got some good results, he spent some time training in SA with Greg Minnaar, seems to have paid off, I always thought it strange that he tapered of so much after winning the 04 junior worlds, kinda like Ben Cory I suppose.

On the phtography front Stik, you got some killer shots there especially if they are the maybe/nearly/almost/where's his foot? pile.
I have a friend you is taking some regular snaps now for MBUK and DIRT and he just stuck with it from day 1 never gave up and kept a smile on his face, it's his job now and he is super happy.

Yeah Sam doesn't seem like the type to be stoked on a course like Sea Otter. Those shots are real nice though stick, thanks for posting.

Awsome Stikman! I was wondering how my jersey turned out. Looking for current MTB photos online is like searching for a needle in a hay stack.. When did you get so good at taking photos. Don't be puttin' Dylan out of business now...

ANyone know who the guy is in my pic? He rode pretty well but looked very pro...I like that considering 3/4 of the pro field now looks horrible.

Thats chris boyce(sp). He is a shredder from Colorado I think. Him and Kovarik were the only 2 people I saw gap the first two boulders at Deer Valley. That was just plain nasty to see.

Ha, no, I think you mean Cody Warren...it looked awful and very poser-ish. Good kid and fast as hell, but I was not into the kit-plus he had ZERO sponsor logos...must be keeping it real.

Did I see Melissa Buhl in there on a Jamis? WTH is she going to ride for DH this season?
Pruitt on Jamis....Buhl on KHS.

And in the biggest industry blunder I have ever seen, the Jamis pits had a huge 8' poster of Pruitt "WELCOME TO JAMIS" or something like that, only she is riding a SANTA CRUZ in the photo....friggin idiots.

Well I guess Pruitt going to Jamis will level the Norba DH playing field a little.....

yeah...NO FEAR MX made us some NICE stuff and sponsor logos are the hardest thing on moto style jerseys if you're getting them direct from the moto company. They use heat transfers and are used to just doing custom 1 off stuff for the top MX guys at the start of the season. The top guys only wear a jersey once so the tiny little transfers don't hold up in the wash. One wash and they start to bubble.

Big heat transfers like name and number stay though. Our jerseys last year, they did the individual logos and we lost some after the first few washes. This year they just made us 3 big heat transfers with multiple logos on them to hold up longer, but still with no guarantees.

Time will tell.
