Oryg Brake...

Is your brake lever just sticky or is it locking down on the rim and not disengaging?
If its the first of the two then I have same problem with my oryg. After a few rides the brake starts to get sticky and I have to manually pull the lever back. I'd suggest cleaning out your cable housing and re-lubing it to get it running smooth again.
If your brakes are locking down and not disengaging then I'm not sure whats wrong based on your description. Maybe someone else will have more useful information to offer...

Get a new cable.
