So i get this bug up my ass this morning to listen to some Scatterbrain. So i go to ebay to try find the CD Here comes trouble, with the song "Don't Call Me Dude". Ebay does not have it, so i goto half.com and some guy wants 45 bucks for it. ARE THEY INSANE!!! The band was not really that great. But i remember the cd having some pretty cool songs on it. Just thought i would vent a little.

weird, those 2 bands were of the same era for me as well... AFAIK, Spyz replaced their singer with some white guy and started sucking. i recall hearing the single off their 3rd (?) album and hating it.

james connolly theory is still such an awesome riff... my friend and i would crank up our solid state crate amps to 11 and play that for hours. :D

Wow! That is a blast from the past. If you hadn't mentioned that specific song I probably wouldn't have even remembered the band. Sometimes I wish I hadn't let my parents throw out the box with all of old metal and hardcore cassettes in it. One band that is impossible to find these days is Sacred Reich. All of their stuff is out of print and just completely unavailable. "The American Way" was a great album.

Amazon.cpm has most of the Sacred Reich stuff for sale....I just did a search. I believe that some (if not all) of what I was checking out was used, but I've had good luck buying used from Amazon.

My favorite is "Heal".....

Heh. I think I have that Scatterbrain CD somewhere around here... and a 24/7 Spies CD. Maybe I should go look for them... or not. I think I'll just head to the bar...

The first 2 24-7 Spyz albums were great ... the third: not so much.
