I personally love my fury, you need to be going quite fast for good ventilation though
It looks awesome, comes with two helmet bags and has a nice tight fit but is still really soft and comfortable.

I have a 661 Full Bravo and it saved me from some diggers all last season. I'm seriously considering the Giro Remedy for my next lid since it looks nice and can be had for like $85. Another good looking cheap lid is the Azonic Fury, dang things are selling for like $59.

The biggest thing that kept me from getting a Fury is the lack of certs. for it. I couldn't find any notice of standards for it online or on the box.

I got the Remedy employee purchased super cheap. If it weren't so big, I'd brag about how much better it is than my old 661 Full Bravo. It's a lot more comfortable, though. . . it just feels strange looking at a shadow and being able to tell that your helmet is noticably larger than your old one.

is the fit off (i.e. too big) or do you feel the external size is too big?

having just sustained a pretty bad concussion, id advise you to save up and buy a cpsc certified moto helmet. i did exactly like you are- cheaping out on a sub $100 helmet. while they are lighter than motor helmets, i probably would have less damage done had i been wearing a moto helmet instead of the cheap full face. is 100 bucks really worth the thousands i spent to go to the hospital, and follow up and aftercare, and months off the bike? believe me, its not.

GREAT advise... it cracks me up how people will pay $400.00 for cranks but skimp on a helmet. What is your HEAD worth? $60.00 or just less that $100.00? C'mon people! Just buy the BEST helmet you can...The LAST thing I would skimp on is a helmet. I'd rather have a lame bike and a great helmet than the other way around. Just my opinion, you guys know what that is worth.

DOT certification, not CPSC...CPSC is the certification for all bicycle helmets (eg, DH fullfaces).

A DOT certified helmet will protect your head better than a non-DOT helmet, but the new ATSM standard for DH that the Remedy conforms to interests me.

Remember kids- A TLD D2 isn't going to protect your noggin any better than a Giro or a 661. It's still just a CPSC certified helmet.
