Saint/microdrive question

After a fairly exhaustive internet search, the smallest ring I've found is a 32t to mount up to my Saints. Currently running 32/16.

Anybody make anything smaller for 4-bolt applications? Really not enough room against the chainstay to fit anything to the granny ring mounts. Thanks.

I'm with B on this. That's why profiles, just for example, have the chain ring fixing bolt real close to the spindle to accomodate a wide variety of ring sizes...kinda sucks cause those saints look phatty phat!

the 4 bolt 104 limits how small you can go. Ive never heard of a 30 or less tooth on the 4 bolt spider.

If you want to go smaller, run bmx cranks.

I run Saints on my Fall Guy with 28t x 12t off the granny ring. I just mount a bash ring to the outside holes so it doesn't look too funny. The granny holes also give me a better chainline on my bike.

Plenty of photos of my bike in the tonic thread.

Would a smaller ring clear your chainstay?

ya know..i think running on the granny would give me a more centered chain line too..

Already scoped it out, thanks.

Gotta hit up the LBS and see if they have any mad offset granny rings. That's the only way it's gonna fit on my MOB.
