The cranks are under 500g if I'm not mistaken. The warranty blows but I haven't seen too many broken so it doesn't really matter.

If I could get them and be able to replace them every time I bent/broke them, I'd totally rock the Eastern Titaniums. 613 grams for the entire crank/BB setup.

would these really break often though?
they look dope, weight is amazing too
but i guess i'd have to run a deity chainring or something along those lines anyways
anyone know of an online retailer for middleburn? i wanna find cost.

It is when it doesn't cover splines, tapers, or threads smartass. And it's warranty.

My plan is that if I ever damage any of the non covered parts I'm just gonna put the crank in a vise and hit it with a sledgehammer and send it in for warranty. Don't tell Middleburn though!

Good luck. Basically the only part covered is the middle of the crank. Maybe the name is a hint on how to utilize their warranty.

Not only that, but they're covered for breaking, not bending. I don't know anything about metals or what they use, but know that some cranks (ie, Deore) will bend and bend back and bend again and never break, whereas others will break quickly without bending much... so what if they're stiff as licorice, then who cares about a breaking warranty?
That's all uninformed speculation, but just using it to point out that in the bicycle industry warranty isn't worth the electrons it's written with.
