people have been saying the hood course (sport) is pretty lame. Mainly fireroad. is this true? Any pics? I want to get some races in on the new bike but i'd rather not ride crap.

the beginner course is what is really lame. the sport is only about a 200 yards downhill total on a 5:30-6 minute course.
the beginner course, well just about 3/4 is fireroad (1.4 miles I think)
expert course is gnarly I heard
edit: there are some pictures but they dont really show much

The fire road that the sport course goes down is the same one that the experts/pros go down. It is as scary/gnarly as you make it. If you skid down it then it will be lame, but if you go balls out it is one of the scariest things I have ridden. I dont even see how its a road really. You can't drive a car on it. The rest of the course isnt very steep, and there is one part where you have to pedal up a tiny hill, but its pretty fun anyway. And if it's not Xtreme! enough for you can always race expert, which is pretty crazay.
