No not the bike, but much like a Giant AC this was the last one in the store... Couldn't sleep well enough last night i decided to fork over the cash. So much for buying a new set of rims/hubs.

"No pleasure, no rapture, no exquisite sin greater than central air."

Me? I am but a lesser demon, relying on a window AC unit. Fortunately it's a big and fairly new (just under a year old) AC unit.

Hmm... ride, or sit in AC with beer... Hmmm... ride in 100+ heat, r sit in 75 degree AC with a beer... Hmmm... tough decision.

One of the greatest inventions EVER is air conditioning.

My prehistoric Fedder finally died. I bought a new one. I hope it lasts another 14 years. The new one uses half as much energy (rating), has 1000 more BTU's, and has a cool temp control feature. It doesn't run all the time like my old one and seems to cool better. Plus it can also be used as just a dehumidifier. Quiet too....

How much more a month does the bill go up for using one of these smaller AC units???

I'd talk my girlfriend into one for our place if it didn't rack the electricity bill to the roof! Fans can only do so much :(

Not sure but it was little enough that the wife didn't mention it... and she mentions EVERYTHING. I don't think it's much and besides, it's worth it!

I think the key is not setting it to 60 and just leaving it on. We have ours set to 78 degrees, and on it's Energy Saver mode.
