No way man. You couldn't pay me to deal with the red tape he has to deal with!

I was in mammoth all last week riding my old giant atx downhill, custom painted, with an old boxxer race, rode with my friend jen, she had the red vp free with world cup, it was a good time, to bad many trails were closed

heres my friend jen taking a digger on the flow drop

I should have hit it faster though

Mammoth was great - sorry no pictures, didn't want to stop riding even for a few seconds.

The new trail "flow" is a lot of fun, the drop that everyone was talking about (See above) is not as bad as people were claiming.

They put some built stuff on Shock treatment, which I thought was going to sanitize the trail when I saw pictures of it. Not the case. It's still technical and challenging!

Even though the upper "skid marks" section of was closed becasue of the snow, most people just hiked across it and rode that section anyway.

Do you have your sluggo built yet?
Yup - finished the build on Thursday, first ride was down Kamakazi to shock treatment...

I'll post up some build pictures later (they are at home).

yea people ride cross country there, downhill is just big there, because of the whole big bear incident, and tahoe being closed

Heading back up there Aug. 26th & 27th...
Be there the following week! Actually I was thinking about trying to get up there next weekend. If we get a few guys (1000-Oaks & Weird Terry...are you reading this?) we could split gas and I could bring the trailer = cheap, clean place to stay....PM me.

I've put different tires on now... dropped the weight down into the high 30's. It was 42lbs as shown.

However those tires were AWESOME for the loose stuff at mammoth... but they were just too big.

Is anyone gonna be rolling through the Inland Empire (Claremont) on the way up to Mammoth Friday after 5pm and coming back by Sunday night? I'll throw down for gas big, of course. If interested call me up at 925 212 9630, thanks!
