I can't wait to see the movie. It is about what happened on the frontlines---not all the political BS. A lot of Fireman, Police officers and rescue workers died to help save others. We all need to remember and recognize this.

Assuming they dont put dumb politically slanted messages in the movie....im all for it. As said above, all tragety's get made into movies. Most recently, Hotel Rwanda.
:stupid:

"Hotel Rwanda" was a real eye-opener for me. Prompted me to read more about what happened. The story of an ordinary man faced with an untenable situation, who rose to the occasion and saved countless lives.

This is how I see World Trade Center, and I hope, the way it is portrayed. Of course there are the large-scale "good guys" and "villains", but the story of the WTC is in large part about the guy next door, who just happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, which, for those around him becomes the right place and time. He is faced with overwhelming odds, doesn't really know if he has it in him, but rises to the occasion. When this happens in real life, it is truly inspiring. This man becomes everyman. He becomes me, and I am inspired to go beyond myself.

Of course his story should be told.

No the bigger problem ws everybody BUYING the flags on Spt. 12, they didn't feel their country was important enought to spend $10 on a flag, then some terrorists atack and all of a sudeen they are uber patriots?

I will not go to see the 9/11 movies. It was gut-wrenching enough listening to the real testimonies. Besides, the History channel has done these subjects to no end (without the "Hollywood" polish).
