A beautiful couple!Sabrina and Sam! I'm really happy with the results. It's incredible to see the time gap of Sam and Greg :hot: 4 seconds Sam killed the course! Nice job! Cool for Rennie too....

my little deception.....Peaty finished 4th but he have another chance next year!?!

Sorry man I went straight to bed, work in the morning and it was 4am.

Ben didn't race because it was costing him to much to get out there. So he decided to stay home and do some more european stuff with the money he had left. Maxxis Cups, French Cups and the last world cup in Schladming.

No gold IH for him.
man, can't the irish cycling federation (or whatever it's called) step up a bit? that's terrible to hear that the country's best racer didn't race @ the biggest race of his sport because of cash.

Cycling Ireland won't stump up any cash, maybe €500 for a team fund. A lot of it has to do with the fact that DH is not an olympic sport. But there is just not enough money to go around, even though DH athletes are Ireland's most succesful.

It was Ben's decision anyway.

Now that we got the Downhill out of the way, now we can start rooting for the real race, the cross-country.

Who's for Meirhaghne?

Great, now when I go downhilling today I'm gonna be pretending every turn is the last turn in the World Championships and I'm holding on to a 1/2 second lead.

Rennie was stoked to medal at this event. He says this about his run: “I slid so many times. I was pretty spent, and I didn’t hit my lines too good. I just tried to ride. The course was getting chopped up. I was trying to do different lines, but just ended up sliding out. I should’ve just ridden the main line.....................”

how many times, have we said that after a run........

Awesome. Awesome.

Congrats to everybody at IH, DW etc.....
Great work!

Congratulations to Chris Herndon!
He pulled 29th at his first worlds.
Its dope to see a friend I grew up racing with and travelling with to kick ass on the world stage.
