Whats better, a v-10 or a sunday. Please go through the + and - of each one. And feel free to recomend a different bike. Thanks so much - Thomas.

That's an impossible question to answer without a LOT more info. What kinda rider are you? Do you like finesse, plowing, or a combo? How much do you weigh and what's your height? Etc....

The V-10 is a run-over anything feeling bike, I mean the thing's got 4" of sag! It really sticks to the ground but it's not all that heavy either.

The Sunday for this year is really really light. It goes fast in corners, and is a semi-plow sort of bike. It's less wallow-y feeling than the V-10. Rather, it's very efficient but it holds a line as well.

I say you ride everything you can, see what you like and don't, and go from there.

Good luck!

been in this dilima myself man. i personally have choose the sunday for my next race bike. i decided the sunday because im a smaller guy, want a lighter bike, want a very flixable bike, i dont need 10" of travel for the east coast (or anywhere for that matter), and it will be easier for me to manage due to the fact that im only 150lbs.

ohh if you could man throw a little bit more info our way aka: do you race, weight, where do you ride, and how much are you willing to spend on it. either way you go you will have an awsome rig, and either way you can build it the way you want it. if you want a complete i would suggest going with the sunday due to the fact that they have more complete options compaired to the v10's 1. well let me know if that helped and give us some more info and we will be able to help you all that you need man.ohh and one more thing do some searches too im pretty sure that there are some other post on this subject, and they will be able to help you out just as much, and there should be plenty of reviews and pics of both frames in the wonderful rm archives.

They feel quite different. Ride both, then decide.

I've found that I'm not a fan of the V10 because it sticks to the ground too much. It feels amazing, rails corners, and has great traction, but hates to come off the ground. I'm guessing the Sunday is different, though I've never ridden one off a fireroad.

The Sunday is a great bike, the low BB is great but can become a hassel when trying to get momemtum going through rough sections and your smashing your pedals.

V10 on the other hand seems to be the bike of choice at the moment in Queensland, however personally I dont't really like it, waay to much "bike" for me.

Didn't go-ride do a write up last season that pretty much listed all the pros and cons of the V10, DHR and Cuervo? Maybe I'm imagining the part about the V10. Vipers come stock with a V10 under the hood and they are fast, get a V10.

My v10 seems to have no problem coming off of the ground. Corners great and handles the rough stuff soo nice. I would like to try a Sunday but have no compeling reason to change.

i've ridden a v10 and its definitely a plow bike..

im in a dillemma too ..but its between a sunday and a 222 .. coming from a single pivot,i dunno if i should stick to one or go DW .. im into racing. i weigh around 135.. here in the philippines its not always "downhill" sometimes we need to pedal a lot.thats where my bullit wins. but when it comes to all the way down, real messed up downhill trails my bullit isnt that smooth anymore ... i dunno if its lack of rear suspension or the geo of my bike just isnt right ..might be just ME ...?
