What Trust 4130 said.

My favorite riders are the ones who can jump a set straight and make it look amazing. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be a quality the acne medicine and deoderant company talent scouts are looking for.

As far as putting a fork on your Redline..go for it.

boxxer are you getting your cranks painted to match? that would be crazy. love the part spec so far.

oh and when you get the front hub dont be pissed that the cone spacers are not anodized to match the body. they leave the spacers silver cuz its a different alu. and the anodizing wouldnt match. i just spray painted em black to blend into the fork. its a nice touch.

Nah, I dont want to get too crazy. The f/r hubs and chain wheel will be that dark ano blue. The rest will be black(cranks) along with the light blue FG frame. Should set it off nice.

I might look into hitting the cone spacers with some black paint too... good call.

But, I still havent made the call the fork. I have a new DJ2 in all black that Ill lower if I go with it... Or, do I buy something lighter? Hate the idea of using something other than marzocchi...

Dude, a lowered Z1 sounds right up your alley. Lighter than a DJ and strong/light too!

Look into nemesisproject.com, they sell lowered Z1s. Their forks use ti hardware and they feel great! Brad knows what he's doing.

Cool thanks. I spoke with marzocchi today and by chance asked if they had any deals. They have some 06 Z1 sports on close out... and Im leaning that way now. They even offered to lower it for me. Would save some time, but Id probably do it myself.

What ti hardware does nemesis use?(negative spring spacers?)

I would e-mail Brad from Nemesis, he'd be able to give you specifics. He's also said his kit improves damping performance, so I would definately consider getting his kit and installing it yourself. I would recommend the Z1 sport for sure...

Ive emailed Brad and waiting to hear from him... but with all the recommends, I think Im going this route.

Bicyclist. What year is that Z1? I looked in the 06, it shows the Z1 as grey in color. Was yours an OEM or take-off fork? I know my DJ2's are all black and theyre take offs from my P3's.

Brad emailed me back super quick. Im going to paypal for his kit today.

Edit: Also, anyone know where to source 14g blue brass nipples? Or even if anyone makes them in colors besides black or silver?

Hey, I've got a dumb question. How do I mount my Imperial sprocket on my Profiles, and what do I need to mount my Profiles to my Fall Guy with the mid BB?

Imperial to cranks with chain wheel fixing bolt(should come with cranks).

Cranks to FG with BB spindle and some spacers to set the chain line.

Don't the new Fall Guy frames come with the matching cone spacers? Hopefully you won't need to adjust the chainline.

Maybe... Those spacers are the hop up kit.. makes the mid BB blend with the cranks. You might still have to use a couple of shims between the cranks and the hop up kit to perfect the line. Ill know in a few days though.

Do I run the little silver spacer on my Imperial with my cranks? If so, which way (with the lip towards the arm or BB?).

Also, I'm not seeing any spacers for the chainline. Where can I buy some, or will a ghetto solution work?

The chain line washers are 19mm and usually come with a BB or BB spindle. They allow you to tweak the left and right crank arms so they are perfect... equal distance from your down tube and a straight shot for your chain. I think Ive always used them. Your LBS should have some banging around.

Bicyclist, have you tried mounting your cranks and chainwheel yet?

Naw, I don't have bolts or washers. For some reason my hop up kit didn't include bolts/washers.

You should jsut be able to run the powdercoated spacers and not have to run the little silver spacers .. this is the point of intigrated is to remove the big ole stack of spacers ..... from the crank to the B/B

On our Spanish B/B frames we jsut use the 2 spanish cone spacers and it sets chainline and crank arm offset perfectly !!

I guess my spindle is long, 'cause I think I'm gonna have to use those spacers between the cranks and shell.

Which cranks are you running ?( not anything longer than 170mm I hope 175mm= No good for MTB's )
Profile ... stock BMX spindel ??

You should be able to tighten everything down and have the spindel set up flush with the inside edge of your crank arm .

Be carful if your going to cut your spindle down , the splines can get messed up pretty easily and it's a real pain to try to clean them out
afterward .

I'm running 170s. Profile Races with 5.75" (I think) steel spindle.

I don't think I'll cut, as I've got a line on a 5.5" ti spindle, I think that'd work well!

Bicyclist before you consider cutting a spindle maybe you should visit a BMX shop or grab a friend that has installed Profiles. I would imagine a 5.75 spindle works pretty well with a fall guy. A friend can show you how to install the chainring spacer and how to keep it loose enough to adjust any high low spots when you have the arms on.

Tiles you started with a 6" spindle..you should not encourage him to break out a hacksaw....

....
interesting, how do you adjust for the high low spots? I always figured they were just a fact of life with 3 piece cranks.

You make the chainring loose but not really loose (a bit looser than snug) and hit the chain up and down with a mallet loosely at the tight spots.

Or jsut buy a one piece TREE sprocket which wont have high and low spots and is machined with GEAR drive profiled teeth not bicycle chain profile , I jsut got my TREE sprockets in yesterday and they run smoother than anyother sprocket I have ever had :happydance:
