Yep, a d/s course is the plan this year. We're gonna try to get up there a week or two before school starts to build the couse and mod the DH course (maybe give it some more flow, I know what you mean), as opposed to throwing things together the day before the actual race (like last year). That's the plan at least, we'll see how things go. -Chris

well, there was a failure to plan things well on the part of the officers, so it was deemed that the designated d/s area was too dry to build a course out of. Nevermind all the methods of getting water there easily....

But yea, no D/S course. Hopefully a redesigned DH course...we may be going up there this weekend to do some work

Oh no, screw that eh, you can't change the course! Beaver Meadows is famed for its unflowy course that sooo many people complain about. I think it would be travisty if the course was changed unless... there is more craziness, i'm talking ten foot wheely drop action man, and how about a bush you have to jump or just run into! Man that would be sweet! I'm really looking foreward to it, i have to defend my title as DH/Trials champion of the world baby. Collegiates rock!!!

Hey dude no offence but at least we follow through and have a DH course. It may lack some flow but look at the elevation change we have to work with, its almost nothing! Complain if you want but as i recall most people were happy with it.

Well seeing as its next weekend you better work on your trials skills, drops to flat, and landing in bushes.

Haha - Brian was complimenting the course, not complaining. He seems to really enjoy the course. The kid did dominate the A dh there last year . . . :bonk:

It's like a gift...I can't control it.

Actually, I want to ride though a goddam bush. Maybe even on fire. Or perhaps a shrub. Oak Brush might be interesting...it could be a whole new feature, instead of hitting a certain speed to clear a gap you have to hit a certain speed to make it through "the brush".

If it's really hard, you could call it the "Fat Old Ugly Chick" because it's Gnar Gnar Bush plowing. (Yeah, that's what she said...), if it's kinda hard you could call it the "Fat Chick" because it's just gnar bush plowing, if it's easy you could call it "way good enough" because it's just riding the bush.

Okay

I'm done.

Jeff, they added a Bush line and i didn't hit it! It looked a little sloppy and wet, did you hit the bush Jeff? The Bush scared me a little but not really. I lobe the beav though, bring it back every year forever! Never enough beave, good work CsU except for the road pink tape which scrwed some people, bad move other then that and the timming i think the race went quite swimmingly. 3rd place eh...eh!
