I haven't had a chance to fully test these down a full run but from the trial runs i've had with them so far they're going to be fantastic. Less arm pump, one finger braking, and a lot more security is what these brakes will provide.

Because the lever is fatter you get a lot firmer grip and it helps to reduce any fatigue and arm pump you would normally get because you're usually braking by kinking your finger around a minuscule thin lever.

Beauty aside, You won't be disappointed.

I've got more pictures but hopefully this tides you over

yea the end caps are pretty cool. I like to have my hands floating off the sides kind of and these feel alot better than the stock ends/plugs. They have a small curve to them

how much are you selling them for?

Is there a shorty, single finger model thats a bit less 'fruity' looking for Juicy 5s?

They've got more regular colors (black/silver/etc)
http://www.straitlinecomponents.com/products/levers.php

There's not a shorty model yet, but i'm sure if tehre was enough interest they'd make em.

I'm not sure what pricing is yet but you can email them and they'll get back to you on that.
Don't look like they got what I want. Oh well. But damn, its like a gay pride rainbow of colors for your levers...

You think they'l produce something a lot more tone'd down for the rest of us? Something short and with grooves? Oh, and flat black with no shiny stuff? Man, this sure is valuable feedback I'm giving up here...

Too bad no online place carries their stuff. I could use those Hayes Barrel gizmo's to stop my damm hayes adjustment screws from walking on me.

Seems like a cool company. They just need to have their products more "out" in online shops or run their own so people find out about them rather a post on ridemonkey :)

I'm repping Straitline for western Canada. Their product is slated for release later this year or early 2007. Keep your eyes peeled because they have big plans.

They kinda re doing the same thing as dangerboy.
I heard that the machine shop who was briefly lazer etching the logos on all the Dangerboy parts decided to get in on the action by copying all the Dangerboy parts, adding slight differences, and marketing them under a new name, "Straitline".

I even heard that Dangerboy is taking them to court.:bonk:

I don't know how much of this is true, but it did come from an inside source.
