Sick..............sick, that was me hitting the first left/right kink on the open corners on Friday morning, tried to hit it with no brakes. The result is above! Sweet photo, thanks!
Here is a pic of Dan Atherton crashing on the same corner in his race run. That big blue pole my left peddle is caught on was a ****er, if you hit it with a hand, knuckles could go flying.
No race runs were pretty much bone dry, there where 1 or 2 sponts on the track that retained water all week, seemed like a small stream was flowing near by, keeping those sections moist. It was a cool week for trying different tyres. Dan Atherton always goes with some stranger tyre combos then most, two Minion R's is scary. But Hill won on two Wetscreams(2.5 on front, 2.2 on rear). Alot of guys ran Highrollers, or a Highroller/Minion combo. A lot of people ran two Minion F's. As for Michelin runners Duncan Riffle was on a DH32 front and a DH16 rear(2.2).
With the damp and very soft bits on the track aswell as the very fine dust and loose stuf that strated to get churned up over Sunday, the two Wetscreams were an excellent choice.
Rennie even stuck with Kendas this week, raced on a "Kineteic" I think.
