dude, that is a pre 01 bullit for sure, for a few reasons. first of all, the cable routing on the swingarm is on top, they chaged it to throught the swingarm. there are vbrake tabs. removed soon after. no guessets, and the if you look carefully the shox mount is straight, the newer ones are slightly of set to change the rate. and the main pivot axel is using a nut, never ones used allen. and the small size is the only one to hav e astraight top tube.
nuff said!
Hmm about the shox mount .. I actually think i can flip it (the black piece bolted to the frame) .. Is it supposed to be that way or like in the pic?

soon to put a matching rear wheel on (laserdisc on a Hope XC hub, i already have it, just need to install it) and some sort of new shock... thinking DHX, rocco, and DHX air.

wow that was abnormally hard for me to type, and my spec list is in the most random order.
could you please show us a pic or two?
this is pretty much the EXACT bike i'm thinking about building. if it really is 37lbs i am very excited!

btw, how is it with only a single ring in front? would you have rather gone dual?

I will have pictures for you in a week or so... if you still want them...

the bike is at home, ill be going back this weekend.

I totally dig the single front ring, and never really like dual. I think i am going to go a bit smaller on the ring though. 38 was all i had at the time... 34-36 maybe a little more up friendly.

Well, that would make mine around 43lbs then. Not bad, im happy with that.

Main differance is profiles vs xt's =+500grams, lg-1 vs SRS =+250grams and Avy vs DHX = + 250grams, races vs world cups = -250 grams, so around 750grams heavier, say 1kg for misc bits = 2.2lbs.

There was a thread about Montashu's rig before... I'm pretty sure he posted a pic of his V-10 on a digi scale and it came in around what he said it was.

Insane build though - aluminum nipples, Sapim bladed spokes, Ti hardware... everything yuo could think of to save weight.
