an orange 224 in black with a DHX air and a boxxer
With red industry nine enduro wheels with dt 5.1D rims and red anod hope 2 piece roters
outboard middleburn cranks
formula puro brakes
X0 short cage and X0 shifter
XTR cog
LG1 With red quarter bash guard
E13 ali stem and monkey light DH bars
I beam carbon post with Ifly saddle
egg beater dual Ti pedals
kenda nevegals 2.3/2.5 with stans
red wippermen chain and ti bolts all over the place, the thing would be like 30 pounds

That would probably be more like 32-33 pounds. But I'm sure if you calibrated that digital scale you could get your V10 down to -3 or so.

no, no guys:

My hardtail is nearly there, as far as spec, and the geometry is right, but there's some further refining of the concept to be had. maybe a bit more like a Leeson proto.

for a squishy bike right now i'm thinking lahar with lahar crank (if they produce it) CC Double Barrel shock, and foes xtd fork.

but then there's so much neat stuff out there, and you can't put it all on the same bike.

the most perfect bike ever would be a fully faired lowracer recumbent with a cargo bed, that can morph into a bmx at will or a super clean fixie, or 8" dhbike. oh and with matching magical tryes to match; silk casing tubulars that can change width tread pattern and size with the bike. And not only that it would have carbon and wood rims that can't break, breathable seat, and brake levers that don't get cold.

I'm happy to say that I own my dream bike:
custom Sinister Splinter MX. The only things I'd change on it are the fork (swap the Breakout + for a Totem) and the shock (swap the 5th for an Avy) - both of which will be done eventually. Other than that I'm all set!

in a single wide, cooking meth...
Intense SOCOM
CC DB shock (pffft, yes of course I'd rock the Ti springy)
Indy 9 wheelset with infinite points of engagement :) (or DT 340s laced to 6.10s)
Middleburn cranks
888 WC
Easton DH carbon bars
Ruffian grips
Gamut chainguide
Magura Louise stoppers
XO shorty (or preferably, the new XTR in something less than a long cage)
New King 1.5" head set
Mallets
Thomson post and some feather light saddle

And finally, Lucy Liu handcuffed to my bed frame (not necessarily bike related I realize, but since I was in the middle of self pleasuring - I thought it appropriate)...

So, I'm pretty sure if I had the above dream machine, I would at least feel faster...And as for Lucy, she would already know how "fast" I am...

I dunno...something like this? Except with a WB DH2.0 and some different tires. I guess I need an updated pic...
