the mid-west armpit!
What happened to it? Was RM politely asked to remove it due some rebel that had secret access to the new frame? And what is the travel on the new model? Anyone..... Anyone....

Yeah, the pics were asked to be removed.

I think there are some on MTBR on the DH board.

I think the travel will be around 7-8" but that's a total guess.

Sicklines removed their pic too. SC isn't a super uptight company so if they ask to not show a pic it's IMO understandable.

Its on MTBR, Drop Machine, NSMB and many others. Santa Cruz just needs to deal... the pics are out, get over it and more on. Dont try and act all stealth like and have them removed. Its sort of ridiculous.

what u guys have seen is not a Bullit.... i know one of the doods testin the new frame, i can;t tell ya what it is cause the dood signed a contract not to tell, so i will not tell either. But i will tell you that it is NOT a bullit

That sounds legitimate.

So, the "dood" who has contracted not to say anything must have clearly said something to you otherwise you wouldnt be saying "so i will not tell either", so why not just fess up, cause you havn't contracted "not to say anything" to SC or anyone else.

not a morewood fan even though morewoods are solid frames. I am a SC kind-a-guy. I am on my 2nd vp-free and love the ride and I am going to pick up one of the new Bullits when they come out which is why I want to know what the travel is. Not that it matters is it is 7, 8, or 22 inches of travel, I just want to know what I can expect

because this is ride monkey! I know there are plenty of fellers on here who can answer my questions like so many of my questions have been answered in the past. But why do you ask 2-dogs?

The old bullit was a great bike and I'm sure the new one will be even better but why wait 8 months? I used to have a bullit and a heckler, now I have a v10 and a nomad, the v10 and nomad are way way better bikes, imho.

I received an e-mail from Scott at SC today answering my question about the new Bullit's travel and it is going to stay at 7". So now I am happy and I can go to my grave knowing my life has now be fulfilled.

I agree, except replace the "sort of" with "incredibly".

Heyyy... look at that. It was one post away from being another obnoxious thread about the same subject, and now it has arrived.

Santa Cruz is doing their best to prevent the photos being spread far and wide. They cannot supress everything, but they have sent requests in where they can and we have chosen to comply with their wishes.

As you said, get over it and move on, don't keep complaining about it. It's sort of-- I mean, incredibly ridiculous.
