How do I put a 1 piece driver on this hub? I've taken out the axle but I can't seem to get the 2 drive side bearings off the axle, and once I do that I don't know where to put that little rubber seal between the hub shell and driver. Are there instructions on the internet somewhere I'm not seeing, or does someone here have monkey-proof instructions?

Thanks!

you do not need to remove the alxe to swap a driver on the hazard. Just the nut on the drive side. To replace, apply pressure to the driver while turning counter clockwise inside the shell. Be careful, all 4 pawls must engage together. You can hear and feel if you did it wrong. Also do not use any heavy grease inside the hub. Just a slight film of lube. I work on a ton of hazard hubs, most damage comes from someone riding on a loose hub. keep an eye on them, they tend to require a bit more attention. (more so with pegs and small gears ratios)

Well problem I'm having is getting the bearings off the axle, and now I got them to move a little bit so they're not in the right place.

if your having trouble moving the axle/bearings or if the axle does not spin smooth, or if you feel alot of drag, there could be a chance that the axle is bent. The hollow axles in the hazards tend to bend a little easier than the solid. If you cant figure it out bring it down to your LBS. ask them to show you the whole breakdown.

Um, the problem is the hub's new. I actually work at a shop, the problem is none of us know anything about BMX stuff.

I'm gonna take a picture and see if I can explain myself better later. Thanks for your help so far though.

Hmmm... I just put on a driver yesterday and it took a bit of work as well. Mainly because one of the nuts on the axle was practically seized so I had to use a vice and alot of torque. I had to use a deadblow to tap the axle to get it to pop out, but I don't recall ever actually taking the bearings out of the hub... Now that I think of it, I know I didn't pull them out. The axle can only go in from one direction and once you get the cassette off it should be as simple as putting pressure and turning the driver to get it to engage and go in properly.

Goddamn it. I pulled the axle out and then proceeded to try and hammer the bearings off the axle. I thought I needed to 'cause the driver had bearings in it already.
