For the "Spawnzooreeed" crowd it is a bit early for this post, but I know stuff that will be on my bike next year whether or not I have to pay full cost for it...
Sinister Frames
RS Lyric and Boxxer forks ( I am building a 6+6" DH racebike for next year...)
e-13 lg-1 guides (best product of '06 IMO)
'07 Atomlab Aircorp pedal ( the best flat pedal ever?)
Michelin tires ( I tried running free taiwaneese tires last year, no dice. It'll be Michelin for me next year)
Thompson posts and stems where applicable. (It is impossible to make a better post or clamp on stem than the thompson stuff)

Heath- Ourys are really fat. Personally they hurt my hands. For semi-fat grips I think ODI Rouge Lock-ons are better, and Ruffians (thin) are the best.

For wheels, I'd recommend 721s on Hadley/Hope/I9 (I9 is making regular hubs for 07). The thing I don't like about I9s is they're really expensive and they're so stiff that IMO they wouldn't be comfy and compliant. I run Singletracks (which I like 'cause they don't flat) but everyone else hates them.

I actually prefer the Oury Odi's over the regular Ourys for the sticky rubber. As for grip thickness, I shave some of the rubber off.

that sounds sweet. 6" bikes with dh geo are so much fun to ride. if i can afford a new bike next season i would love to go with something like that.

I had a ton of fun riding and racing on a bike with a Pike up front and 6" in the rear the last part of the season this year. I am going to make it a priority to be able to start the season with something similar as an option. I may be 5'10" and a 165# and pretty strong, but I still ride like the little anorexic XC girl I used to be. I have more fun on a short travel bike, and my times compare favorably with when I am on the full DH bike, so I figure why not? It will be a good combination of a good bit of homemade links and what not for the R9, and using my Passion VST trail bike for things that it is not designed for. There are certainly times and courses that the full on 10" assault is awesome, but for me right now less traction and control in reserve is more fun and faster to boot. DH bike design is all about geometry for me. My Splinter I was running with the Pike was awesome. 64 degree head angle, 46" wheelbase, 12.5" bb, so super low bars to boot. I want to do something similar, but it is difficult to achieve those numbers on a bike that will be stock around 66.5 like the Passion. All these fancy multi link bikes really don't like to have the shock length changed too much.....

yeah i've been having a blast this season voiding the warranty on my stumpjumper. there are sections where i am just over my head because it is too steep, but it works for me most of the time.

Stumpjumpers are remarkably fast w/ a slammed seat. I was much faster in rocky stuff on my SJ than my 6" Enduro, before I sold the Enduro.

Yeah, I run ruffians now, I have tried others but don't really notice any difference; probably close in diameter. Ruffians work great...if it ain't broke...

I want the Radical as light as possible. Simply because i can afford to blow money on it (Ill be claiming it on tax a few weeks after i get it) and i want to see how light i can get it. Im being optimistic and setting myself the target of 35pounds...

As for suspension im going to test ride as many different set-ups and products as i can to find the best for myself and my sponsored riders.

Ill rephrase that.

As light as possible with the Deity gear. Eric is a good friend and ill ride his gear untill he stops making it. A good Shock, Tyre and Wheel change should counter the weight the Deity Cranks put on the bike.

I will probably be riding the same frame as last year:

Right now I have a 2005 Bighit
Fox 40rc2
Swinger 4-way coil shock
Magura Liouse Fr brakes
Sun Mtx rims, 24" rear, 26" front
Specialized Stout rear hub, Atom Lab front hub.
Dt Swiss double butted spokes
Sram x.9 shifter and derailluer
Saint Cranks
E.13 srs chainguide
Raceface diablous handlebar (non oversized)
Cheapo supergo 60mm stem
Specialized derived seatpost with seat
Rogue grips

As of right now I will probably get a new rear shock, and maybe a thomson seatpost and stem. Other than that, I would rather save my money and spend it on races and maybe a trip to Canada.
