Finally! Got it in today!
Along with about 8 bajillion stickers, my buddy knows how much I lurves me some stickers.
Gonna go home, and starting throwing it on the Look 585 frame I've had waiting for it. Should be a fun evening, even if my garage isn't heated, and it's 20 degrees out.
I love new bike stuff...

You'll need to tell us how the single action shifters work. I'm torn between getting a sram grouppo and the new campy record grouppo with carbon crank.

Sweet! I am really interested how those work out...I have to replace my old 9sp Ultegra shifters...figure maybe I could just jump to 10 speed while I'm at it...

Looks like Fun, will be waiting a Report on how well they work

while the Sram is Nice ,looking , you can NEVER go wrong with Campy record
I will update, installing it today!
This will mean that I will have an Ultegra bike, a Dura Ace bike, and a Force bike in the garage! And, agreeing with the sentiment above, I'll be getting a Record bike to ride sometime early in the year. Won't be "mine," but it will be mine to ride for the year, until we upgrade to the 2008 model at the end of the year...

I did forget that I don't have any cable housing for the bike. Damn, have to make an order next week...

so? got it on yet? what do you think? i like the idea, but execution with the front derailleur seems to lack. i like how everything works for the rear derailleur, but the front...no thanks.

hoods feel a little fat.

love the long, flat hoods.

Not finished yet, still need cable housing, and honestly some cranks, but I can rob those off of another bike.
Anyone want to trade some almost new Dura Ace cranks for something with compact? :)
I personally love the feel of the hoods. Haven't ridden Campy too much, so I can't compare that much.

I have some WCS compacts with octalink BB, but nothing with much bling.

Yeah, those are ok cranks, but I'll probably end up with from TruVativ Noir or FSAs. I'll just "borrow" the set off of my other bike for the time being. You can only ride one at a time, eh?
