The Mono was left in the website/catalog last year at greatly reduced prices to clear out existing inventory, it appears they're all gone. Try calling them maybe You'll get lucky.

there were no monos left in stock this year, they were making them if they were ordered like they do with all their bikes. and i doubt the 2:1 will ever take over the mono because it rides like ****, its got nothing capared to the old mono

Wow that is a pretty stiff comment to make. Exactly how much time do you have on one that is dialed in for you? While I don't have the 2:1 Mono I have been on the 2:1 FXR for most of last year and find the Curnut and 2:1 leverage ratio to be very good. What I have found that it is very easy to over spring the 2:1 bikes but once you get down to a light enough spring the bike feels bottomless and from what I am hearing the same is true with the new 2:1 DH. Once dialed in these bikes are plush. Unless you have real seat time on a 2:1 bike I would say a comment like "rides like ****" is pretty worthless. The real question should be who has real time on one and what do you think? Not trying to pick on someone but I would like to see comments based more on actual use than rumors and stories.

The RPR Racing team rode them last year, they switched from Foes Mono's and They couldn't say enough good things about the bike. My Mono with a curnett ti is super stable, bottomless and fast on straightaways I just need to learn how turn it a little better it tight technical sections. The RPR riders were amazed with their 2:1's

Why didnt you like it? How did you think it rode ?
Ah see these are the questions that need to be answered! This is what peopled would like to know.

Excellent, seriously wasn't trying to ride you, just too many others make e-comments like that but have nothing more than e-experience. So my questions are how much do you weigh, what spring/s were you running, fork, tires and tire pressure (fr/rr)? Some rider/bike combinations just are imposible to get setup, FOES have allways been this type of bike. Some rider feel like they are magic others hate them. Part of the problem is subjective human feel and that is the main reason no manufacture of frames, suspension, tires, etc... will ever make everyone happy. How do you ride and where? I know it's allot to ask but I also know this frame is not the frame some riders should be on while it will simply be magic to others. So what specifically didn't you like and if anything what did you like? Also what sort of problems did you have with it setup, maintenace?
Thanks for anything you can put out there.

i rode a mono for the first couple of months of the year and loved it, ive never felt so at home on a bike as i did on it.
i then rode a 2:1 with curnutt forks for the rest of the season, i had a 350-300 Ti combo on it i tried a 300-300 combo which made the bike sit too far into the travel on the trail, the sag while sitting on the bike was fine but once you were riding it was sitting into the lower end of the travel where it ramps up.once i changed to the 350 it felt better but still didnt have the feel of the old mono, it didnt react to small bumps as well as the mono did and just felt really harsh in comparison. it kind of felt dead compared to the old mono, i believe there has been a couple of changes to the internals since we set mine up so they may have sorted it out a bit.
i couldnt really get a feel for the curnutt forks, no small bump sensitivity so it was hard work riding with them, i liked my fox 40s on the mono a lot better.

You rode a Mono with a DH40 and a 2:1 with a Curnutt XTD.... the XTD is terrible. Maybe that was the problem. Did you ever get a chance to ride the 2:1 with the DH40?

I think I may have talked with the same guy, positive.

Hey how did your buddy with the Demo like the ROCO setup?
He loves it except one of the adjustment knob fell off after a couple rides.

I really like mine and it was the best on braking bumps at Whistler closing weekend. Unfortunately on the last day one of our crew felt the need to do the bouncy bouncy on it but lowered the seatpost down to do it (04 frame) and wam instant no more rebound knob :disgust1: Oh well good thing it's adjusted where I like it I guess.
