for my fishing, it was the Rapala...that thing was golden. didn't do much surface fishing, actually.

Well thing about the maribou jig is that you can catch any fish that swims with one. Catfish, bass, walleye, sauger, bluegill...doesnt matter.

Ah yea, road runners are nice as well. Ive always had good luck with them, but only used them over a regular jig in murky water (figure then the spinner'd have an advantage)
Ive caught alot of crappie and sauger on them in Kentucky Lake.

EDIT: They come in marabou as well. Woot!

I hated that lure. The day I used it I only got 3 or for little bluegills, then it got stuck on a log under water. I've been rocking my 2 dollar walmart spinner bait for awhile with a lot of success. Just cast and briing that sucker back on the surface. Big mouths love to hit that.

i can't believe no one mentioned the legend of zelda for video games.

as for movies, i have to say that the life aquatic with steve zissou is definitely going to be a classic for me.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail

I just watched this movie for the first time and laughed from start to finish.

My favrote parts where the part just near the beginning where king auther has that pointless arguement about cocanuts with the two guys on top of the castle. and where the villagers are trying to figure out wheather a woman is a witch of not... "and what else burns like a witch?" MORE WITCHES!!!
