Here's a silly question... where have you been riding?

Not looking for directions to where unsanctioned trails are...

I've just been riding in the city... I'm about ready to box up my bike, ship it somewhere w/o snow, and pull a Houdini from work...

last time I went out to an exit it had 2 ft of snow on it...

if it's unsanctioned just say "blue bucket" or PA something... keep it discrete ...

We were going to hit up PA last weekend, but there was at least 6" of snow out there. Of all the hush-hush trails, they're either under snow or still have fallen trees strewn about - or both.
I'm a few weeks seperated from knobbies and dirt...I'm kind of freaking out.

Tis the season for sketchy riding :)

We did Galby a few times (last weekend was great...6" of really dry snow and lots of first tracks down some trails...slow in spots but super fun and sunny).

We also hit up some of our usual spots up north. Aside from the hike in the snow, the trails were fun and no trees down. This winter is proving to be challenging but fun on the bike.

I have learned that michie dh16 and 24s do not like snow as much as minions.

Hitting SST. In the snow it's totally doable. All of it. Here's how. I put my short skis on my feet like outriggers and do it Hawaiian style. Peace.

In-door ramps on the skate park bike when I get a break from work. Hopefully I'm going to hit up a top secret Area 51 DH trail on Saturday; you've probably heard of the trail, but I could be assassinated by the PNW trail Nazis if I mention the name on the internet. Last time I was out at this trail it needed some love because of the wind storm, so if anyone wants to go ride on Saturday...

Falls City, Oregon today: Blackrock was running fast and slick. Some leftover ice, but pretty much all melted. Banzai Downhill was a hoot, Basic Training was icy and fun, upper trails were a little soggy for me to try anything interesting but others were up there throwing down. Nice to get out and get a decent ride in, this last few weeks has been horrid for two wheels!

My boyz and I love that place , last time we were there it was raining so hard the only other people we saw on the mountain was a couple from the Seattle area. The second day was much better . Tough to plan a trip like that around weather . We'll be going back in a few weeks .:)

I can 2nd falls city (br) being an escape from the dreaded winter (lack of) riding.

The further up you went, the better the conditions. I found out what happens when you slide a little on a berm and then go for the gap after it anyways; yay for burly forks!

They were working on upper granny's when we were riding up for our first lap..active building is always a welcomed thing!

Def a long trip but at least you get some riding in.
