Good F'in morning all. How the heck do you have 4 labs in one day Rob, my labs were always 4 or 5 hours long! I'll be heading to the shop today to drop off a big ole box o' parts and the heckler frame to get it assembeled, so that should be fun.

Watchin' you. Writing it all down.
Winter finally arrived. It was 17 yesterday morning and 24 this morning. Calling for an icy mess on Thursday afternoon which means that it'll rain and bread and milk will be gone from the shelves.

Buenos Dias a todos. 4 hours of Clinical Case Correlations with Dr. Ming-Har Lo. Had lab for 5 hours yesterday dissecting the front of the leg and foot. I now understand why it's so expensive to get an ACL/PCL/MCL tear fixed. Have a great day monkeys!

-Rob, i'm jealous. they dont teach us CT manipulations until year 2...

Morning. Watched 24 & Heros last night. Both of which were great as usual. We have building contractor #1 coming to the house tonight to discuss the new addition and give us an ballpark estimate. That's kind of exciting.

Have a good day people. :)

Decided to sleep in this morning, and skipped the spin workout. Had a nice "high impact" workout last night to make up for it. Always fun to tag second degrees.

The new dojo I'm attending does things a little differently than I'm used to, and I don't know if I'll change my ways to "fit in". I'm not sure I like the style, I know it works, but I don't think it's me.

I just got up and got tons of Spanish homework for a test tomorrow an have to work a double at the resteraunt, about thirtees hours, where i'll make about fifty dollars because people tip like complete $hit. People in Huntsville have never even heard of ten percent let alone the standard 16% tip. Oh, and I also only make 2.13$ and hour in salary.

F*ck I hate my life right now.....

I need to get in a ride and relieve some stress.

All our dissection was done at the end of year 1. Almost all of our manipulation is learned by the end of this semester.

I survived the lab diagnosis lab class in which we had blood drawn and drew on other people. That was probably the toughest thing thus far; I HATE having blood taken.

We have four 2 hour labs 2 days per week, so we get 4 hours per week of each lab.

Morning. Been cleaning out the apartment and buying some nice new things to decorate with.

Had my first pilates class yesterday and my core feels like it'll fall off today. I coughed this morning and felt like falling over! Indoor climbing tonight.

at least you can cry on yr velvet pillow.

good night last night. did a quick 3 mile run, then grabbed some food and went to a rock show. as a bonus, i got to meet the show's organizer, who's hooked me up w/ a few shows in the last several months, and regina's a very cool person. david daniell did some guitar/electronics stuff which was kinda soothing. next up was the unpredictable Neptune. this 3 piece plays homemade equipment, aside from the drums (and the floor tom was a converted trash can). not sure if i got any decent shots of their gear (low light + kinetic energy + no flash = likely blurred mess), but it was impressive. welded metal guitar necks, bodies and frets. very industrial looking. loads of percussion too. the sound was a bit like early Sonic Youth, Pussy Galore, Savage Republic, w/ some japanese power electronics thrown in. plus, they were pretty funny too. i wanna see 'em again.

headliner was Rhys Chatham, the 2nd most well-known guitar orchestrator from NYC (Glenn Branca being the 1st). in addition to david daniell and some guy from Devil's Music (can't recall his name), he is also recruiting local guitarists to wring every last breathing whimper out of a chord. if repetition (some may say monotony) isn't yr thing, then look elsewhere. 6 guys playing the same chord for over 15 minutes (there was also bass and drums) could sound akin to chinese water torture, but it was pretty interesting how the overtones developed, and how slight changes in their strumming and rhythm influenced the total sound. i dug it.

on the downside today, i forgot my f'in bike shorts for spin class.

What!!!??? ... You mean you didn't hitch a ride to wherever you went in a rusted out, lowered Volkswagen? :brows: :p

Still doing lots of f'ing stuff around the house to get unpacked and making it feel like an actual f'ing home. I may have to separate the f'ing washing machine drain from the shower as the two seem to be fighting for gravity's attention as of late. Not sure exactly what the previous "rennovators" did to the f'ing drainage setup, but it's very apparent that plumbing wasn't the strongest skill in their f'ing toolbox. I was hoping to put the mailbox in today, but temps aren't getting out of the freezing zone, so the Quickcrete will have to wait a a little while I think.

On a totally unrelated, but completely halarious tangent: OK.........so it's 3:30 am and I hear Colin start crying. Justine mumbles to me "........Can you get him? I'm beat." Sure, I have to be up in two hours anyways........why would I want to delay that, right? Well......I'm groggy, a little bit grumpy because I know this is gonna take at least an hour to get him changed, fed and back to sleep. We get to the changing table, get the diaper off, cleaned up and ready to put fresh diaper back on. So, we've got these pee-pee tents that my aunt sent us---little triangular cloth tee-pee's that you just set on top of the baby unit so any accidents will be at least deflected back downwards. Just as we were about to seal the deal and get the new diaper back on, Olde Faithful begins to geyser. Here's the funny part: I'm all groggy and grumpy, it's late, I've got to be up in an hour, but I can't help but break out into hysterics, because the pee-stream was so powerful, it shot the pee-pee tent up in the air at least a foot and showered both of us with deflected pee!!! Oh man.........I was ROTFLMAO!!! It was enough to get Justine up out of bed to see what the hell was going on.

Parenthood: It's only funny if you've been there......

As some of you probably remember the post I made a while ago about donating my kidney to my friend Amanda. I found out this morning she is in urgent care on a respirator and all that fun stuff because she has a staph infection somewhere in her body and they haven’t found it yet. She is in really bad condition right now. I worried sick about her right now. Her fiancé called me right when I got into work this morning to let me know. He was basically in tears. As soon as my boss gets in I’m going to see if it will be ok for me to leave for a while to go see her.
