Kris was junior sport, not jrx. he's doing jrx this year though. If you dont' have a lisence you pay 5 bucks per day for a day lisence. Or you pay 60 bucks for all year and every race is covered unless it's in a different country, then you need an international lisence.

Beacon, while privately sponsored (whatever that means), will be a NORBA sanctioned race. And unless there is another DH race in the state to compete with, it will most likely be the State Championship.

Hood Orba sanctioned?

Hood is NORBA and ORBA sanctioned. If you are racing Sport or below you can get a one day ORBA license, or a annual OBRA license for around $20. If you are racing Expert or higher you need a annual NORBA license.

Anyone know a link to the race schedual for Beacon and Hood? I hear the two mentioned a fair amount, but haven't seen a link to anything official for schedualing.

Can we buy an annual license on site? or should i do it online?

i know he raced sport, he said he couldnt race jr ex because the fact that he didnt have a yaer long license? something to that nature i believe.

EDIT: dont mean to sound like a dick, but i know about the day license, year long, and know you must have a year long to race expert and higher, im just trying to figure out, what each race is sanctioned by, and if i can get a year long license on site at beacon

You can buy it on-site (at beacon). But, I would buy it online. And make sure you print out your "auth to ride" deal until you get your card. My experience is that your card will come a lot faster if you do it online. Whenever we have sold them on-site, it seems like there are always a couple we have to follow up with USAC to see what happened, get copies of cancelled checks and so on. Big pain in the ass. Buying it online is your best bet.

are you sure about that? the word passing around this area is that Hood will be all NORBA this year, no OBRA for DH (probably becuase it was confusing to do 2 sanctions)

No. I don't know what is happening in the future, only what has happened in the past.

Only problem i have is, online to purchase an expert license, it must be a "renewal" meaning you must have had some sort of all year license last race season, however, i did not. . . . .

and you said i can buy on site. . . i can get a yearlong on site. . correct?

thanks for all the answers guys

Eren

edit: i reread ur post and get it now, haha

Yup, you can buy the yearly on-site.

USAC limiting people as to what kind of license they can buy online? Doesn't make sense, but no big surprise!

I suppose I should know this as I'm not a noob, but is there an open cat? I'm not interested in renewing my semi for one race. or, is the sport course the same as the pro/semi?
