I'll have a ride report tomorrow night, but so far it's sick-nasty. It's Transition's "Complete Bike Spec" it's awesome.

Sorry if the pics are a touch dark.

The Dirt Jumper 2 is sick. It's perfectly damped for any Dirt Jumping demands, reliable, simple and quick to adjust, and can take anything you can throw at it. And they are much much lighter than they used to be.

I've always thought Fork Lowering was kinda pointless unless you've already got a spare fork lying around to lower because it costs more money, you don't need a lot of a adjustments for jumping, and it voids your fork's warranty. Marzocchi has the Dirt Jumpers and Rock Shox has the Argyles, both of which are awesome dirt jumping forks straight out of the box. Their are also Manitou Gold Labels, but I've heard a lot of poor things about them. The Dirt Jumper 2 and 3 are also both designed to be able to run 80mm or 100mm of travel, and you can have it set at either travel without voiding your warranty if you buy it from/through an authorized Marzocchi Service Center or an authorized distributor, like BTI.

Sweet! Those rims look B-proof too. Anything you would change on the build? Thanx, MW
Actually I really like the build. I've got a set of 24's waiting to be built, so I can run 24's if I feel like it, and when I put those on, I'll probably micro-drive it for extra clearance riding street.

The only thing that I honestly don't like is the QR 10mm rear axle. I love being able to adjust chain tension without tools, but it still doesn't bite down on the frame like a true bolt-on axle does, and slips around occasionally. It would be phenominal on a Vertical Dropout frame where you wanted QR ease, but solid 10mm axle strength. That is the only thing I truly don't like. But the Transition Revolution wheelset I'm super happy with.

I'm also not a big fan of Hayes brakes either. I've had a set of HFX-9's and had nothing but trouble with them, so we'll see how this one holds up. So far it feels okay, but I think that will be the first thing to get switched out; probably to an Avid Mechanical.

The bike rides like a dream, and even if the components aren't 100% what you want, that's really what matters. This is easily the best riding 26" hardtail I've ever ridden; even better than a Blk Mrkt Mob, which I'm sure is a pretty bold statement.

Awesome that you really like it. Can you be any more specific? Why do you say better than a Mob?

umm lowering a frok is not expensive really, and if brad instlals one of his kits it still has a FULL marzocchi warrenty, hell most of their team riders have lowered forks. plus a 63mm travel fork is perfect on most bikes these days and the a2c on an 80mm can kill the ride

I don't mean that lowering it is expensive, but I should have been more clear. What I mean is, I see lots of people going out and buying the highest end Z.1's or Fox Forks and lowering them to under 80mm. It just doesn't make sense to me to spend money for such top-dollar forks with tons of adjustments and lower them to 65mm, that's all.

I mean, like I said, if it works for you, and you like it, then go for it. It doesn't really matter what you have on your bike or how it's setup as long as you enjoy riding it.

I like it better than the Mob because it's got a little more weight to it. I mean, I like a DJ/Street bike to be light, but not under 30 pounds. To me it just feels like nothing is under you when it's that light. Also, i think the wheelbase is a little longer, which I like a little better, and the head angle is a touch steeper. I just feels a little more solid than the Mob I've ridden; i don't really know how to elaborate on it much more...
