People often ask where I learn lighting/composition etc. It's mostly from movies. I mentioned this to my accountant the other day when he asked and he said if that's the case, that I can write off movie tickets and movie rentals as a business expense.

Just saw Everything Illuminated last night. If you haven't seen it yet you should check it out. It is full of beautiful shots & a great flick too.

i just watched Layer Cake last night, good flick. It's by the producer of Snatch and Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. Kinda trippy some scenes. Check it out if you havent seen it. Also watched Domino the other night, thats pretty crazy too, by the director of Man on Fire. It kinda looks like a bad acid trip in some scenes.

A variety of movies is good. Almost everything that has made it to dvd has got something going for it visually. As far as story/acting etc thats another matter :twitch: :twitch:
