I'll try to be there, but I don't think I'll be able to race because I just sprained my ankle this weekend at Fontana on saturday during practice.

Manny and I scouted out the course this afternoon and all I can say is that it's one of the best U courses to date. A couple of new sections including a nice twist at the bottom should keep things interesting. Berms, fast, berms, steep, berms, fast, holly!@$!@$,

Don't miss this one....

There is actually a chance I could make it. :D Make the next course A-line II.
There are jumps on the course but they all have an around line/can be rolled. Trust me, there are a large amount of jumps at TW that you/other people would not be able to do, so that is why we make the courses friendly for all levels of riders.

Come down. You can always ride the jump lines instead of the course, you wild jumping stallion you.

The course was scouted and will be marked on Thursday afternoon. This course is pretty sick and fun unless you want to go faster than your skills allow.

See you out there...

Sweet! I hope I can race, but it's not looking like I'll be able too. But I'll be down to help run the race! :)

I've been there once. I hit the smaller doubles, like the 4pack and the ones that lead to the road. The road gaps are a little big. I need to build more there.

Ensenada race is the weekend of the 18th I believe. FFAT can suppy more details as they become available.

Passports ARE NOT required for entering or leaving Mexico BY LAND. Passports are required if entering/leaving country by sea and air. Heads up though, I believe the passport becomes a requirement for 2008 and beyond.

Sweet thanks man. that cleared up a lot of confusion. Maybe I should start working on my passport now so I won't have to fight the crowd/wait time in 08'. Just in case...

I did some work on the course and added/worked on a few of the berms on the lower half of the course. Hopefully that will help keep the speed and flow of the course and make for a fun fast run! :)

TWU
March 4, 2007

I would like to thank everyone for coming out and RIDING. TWU is all about fun and I’m glad everyone understands that. Unfortunately, our cheese ball stopwatches didn’t record 1/10th of a second so we had a few ties through out the results of both divisions. In the Faster Division, the top two placings were ties. I only made one check trophy per top three spots. So the winners had to play Rock, Paper, Scissors for the trophy. But all top three finishers got paid. Good times. Next race in Mexico is March 18th in Ensenada. For more info on TWU and Mexico DH races contact Manny through www.FFAT.biz. Now, here’s the results:

Faster Division
1. (tie) Hank and David K. ($75 each) 1:39
2. (tie) Alf and Ryan A. ($50 each) 1:43
3. Crocket ($40) 1:45
4. Bradical 1:47
5. Travis M. 1:49
6. (tie) Garret and Travis E. and Andre 1:50
7. Corey T. 1:54
8. Dan-O 1:50

Fast Division
1. Abe (Mirco) 1:52
2. Bryan R. 1:54
3. Daniel 1:55
4. Jerome 1:57
5. (tie) Rich F. and Nich G. 1:58
6. (tie) Nick Fox and Adrian 2:00
7. Sami 2:02
8. Grant S. 2:09
9. Patrick 2:12
10. Michael L. 2:19
