Hey,
I know quite a few monkeys have used them. I sent my Imperial off two weeks ago. Can't get hold of anybody. Several emails and phone calls, nothing. Anybody talked to someone there recently??

I just talked to them last week regarding my frame. Steve said they have been super busy coupled with sick family members.

Don't worry, it is worth the wait.

yeah Steve has been sick as well as some close family members, hasn't really been home. But he's real good about getting everything done by the time he says he will

I think you're fine, except for the delay. They're excellent to work with and I'm sure there must be a reason for the communication lags.

I'm rounding the corner to 3 weeks. Wish I could just confirm that it is at least there. Still can't find my PO receipt.

They were alittle slow getting my frame back this year too. Their work is good though. I've had my last two bikes done by them

It took 3 weeks, I think it's normally 2 but they had some sickness in the family. Got my stickers from Evil.

plus its always hard to find a painter that knows what to tape off on a frame.

Agreed! Not the best pic, but they did a great job with my frame (7point) - stripping, taping, and PCing -

Anyone know of a powder coater that will do chemical stripping? I've got an older easton ultralite hardtail frame, and easton says that the tubing is so thin that sandblasting the frame will compromise the strength.

I believe that S&D uses a chemical stripper followed by a media blasting. Maybe others can confirm this. I can't remember what they said during the process.
