What to ride in Kamloops???

Going to be in Kamloops for 5 days the first week in June. Looking for flowy type trail rides, freeride stunts, and jumps. What are some must rides from people who have been there?

Also, This is part of my honeymoon so I need some less technical, smooth singletrack rides as well that my soon to be better half can ride.

Any good bike shops in the area anyone can reccommend?

check out The bicycle cafe.

Rose Hill is right in town. Fun flowy stuff with the odd big giant ridiculous kicker here and there. The Bicycle Cafe is right at the bottom of it.

Harper Mountain is good fun, but you'll need a local to show you around.

Sun Peaks and Silverstar don't open until July so youre screwed there...

nsmb has quite a few members from around there - might be worth having a look over there.

Yah, you suck!!!! Glad you got her to agree with you on going there. I have to wait till next summer to go. Mason needs to be a little older.
Well, we are also going to Mexico (Puerto Vallera) for the first part of the honeymoon to satisfy her warm weather cravings.

So....anyone else on suggestions???? Thanks silent J, I'll check out that shop and I'm glad to hear that Rose Hill is in town as I've heard alot about it.

Call the bicycle cafe (250) 828-2453 they know the goods.

as for Rosehill the top section was pretty much torn up and is now having houses built on it. the lower section with the road gap and such is still good though.

the bike ranch got alot of work done to it in the jump park last fall and the spring. plans for more trails are in the works but those thing take awile before the trail is actualy built.

I also recomend harper mountain lots of good trails up there.

heres a vid of local rider Tysun Marshall on the top section of the bike parks trail "fist full of dollars"

Thanks everybody. Sounds like the bicycle cafe is the place.

Anybody know the name of where the jumps are at the end of roam? You know the part: it's where you can see downtown Kamloops in the distance and all these guys run a train at the dirt jumps.
