Trying to get a breathe (sp?) of fresh air from UCI posts and chile cup challenge points tallies.

John Tomac's son Eli Tomac who has been ripping the jr. MX scene the last few years is continuing his winning ways. This past weekend was lake whitney national, one of the biggest mini MX races in the country. He has moved up in class now and got a 1st, 2nd and 4th in the 150f class too.

Kinda sucks a 13yr old kid is making more racing MX than most pro DHers make today.

feel free to delete this mods, don't know how tight things are around here anymore.

Where is the results list? I want to see if the local kid Dakota, who was ranked 2nd to Eli, is still hitting it. His dad had a mini-moto track in their front yard and was the sales rep for Cobra minis. It was literally their front yard here in urban West Asheville. They were both 8 years old at the time and the kid was popping 30 foot tabletops with throttle pinned!

He rides for Suzuki, he won 85cc modified and 2nd in 85cc stock, the 4th in 150f class I do not know what he was on. I am pretty sure suzuki doesnt make a 150 and I am pretty sure he couldnt ride a honda according to his suzuki contract, so you got me.

EDIT***(Eli was on a 125cc 2 stroke in that 150 class)

And cant climb, Eli's bike is stock in the stock class and his mod bike is nothing like a factory RC bike etc, like he has NO works parts, hell Byrne etc does not even get works parts (rockstar suzuki)....I will assume you are implying he wins because of his equipment-not the case-remember, he rides for suzuki ;)

Butch, dont know where results are posted, my brothers firm does the PR and design for suzuki so this is where I heard.

Diesels=four stroke.

Honda comes out with a basically double displacement overpriced loud maintenance machine and then tries to have the rules changed so that they can run their bike in the 85 class cause they are not going to make two strokes anymore.

Sorry but it really burns me, it would be like trek coming out with a 4 inch travel DH bike and then having the rules changed so you can't ride a dh race with anything with more then 4 inch travel.

The statement of winning the honda class is about the 150f not legal in ama racing in the 85 class.

tighter pollution controls the world over are a prime motivator for the move to 4 strokes...no marketing ploy.

Time Flies that is for shure and so does that kid!!!
I remember rolling up to Mammoth my first trip there in 98'
to check out the slalom course, when from way up the hill comes
this lil' grom on a 20" dh bike just haulin straight down the loose
terrain off the trail just pinned straight down the hill lettin it go
hoppin' water bars swivin though the sand.
I was like damn - Unbeleivable - that is going to be one fast ass kid,
so that's how they rip out here in Cali huh? \
I then watched him roll over to the Tomac trailer and park it next to daddy Mac
Every thing made since all of a sudden-
he was prob. like 5 then?!!!??!!
