i think it has to do with it being a size small frame. so proportionally it looks high. Ud also run that bike with a LOT of sag so the BB would come down a few inches.

that looks like a dope rig!
if i may make 2 suggestions, i think you'll be much happier if you lower the front end an inch or two and change the drop-outs to the other position. this way the bike will get a lot lower and rail corners much better.

the thing looks sick, but i agree, change dropouts and lower the fork as much as possible, it'll lower the bb and make it handle better. but sick rig for sure. you'll have to run ur seat a little higher to keep it from murping:biggrin:

What do you guys think of the Travis for heavier riders? I will most likely be getting a Session 10 this summer but have some misgivings about the fork. I weigh 225# and from passed experiences have found that Manitou DH forks may not be the best for heavier riders. If I get one I may try to sell the fork and get an 888 or Boxxer but am always willing to try something new. I've heard that Manitou did a lot to fix the durability issues of the XVert and Dorado.

suprisingly, the travis (dorado replacement) works really well and is buttery smooth. i figure it lacks the stiffness of a 40, but it is on par with all other dh forks on the market.

THRILLSEEKA: this beast weigth is 20,1kg,mostly it's very heavy with out the the Titanium stuff,Mines got titanium springs on the rear shock and fork that makes this ride ligth.
jrfor0: The bike is just fine and it corners very good in the turns.
SteezyWeezy: why would i change it if every thing is fine as it is.
CMAC: The travis is indeed a super smooth fork and I'm happy with it and soaks up the hits very nice.
tmoney727t: My session 10 is not using to much sag,I run my bike with 30% sag witch is perfect for DH,i'm not a very heavy rider so this set up is perfect for my riding.
f0ggy: for freeride it's great but i can allso use it for DH,Nico Vink has one to and he races with a Session 10 with a boxxer WC and he head won the 2006 Belgium Championship with it.

Did anyone have an issue with the CTE in the session?

Some of my friends, their CTE upper pulley which is broken easy. Did anyone know how to solute this issue.

As far as I know @ here, I know some of the rider has been install a E-thirteen on the CTE, it is a special SRS?
