Sorry for the big pics but these are from Sunday of someplace we don't ride.
It was Saturday. I know this because I went to Dupont on Sunday. Man what a great weekend. Lots of shuttling on Saturday, epic XC ride on Sunday.

anyone going to be over at hobby park this saturday (5/5/07)???????? my fat ass is going to be out at the DS track playing around on the course, im trying to get used to it so next time there is a race i can enter and see how i do.........might need some coaching on how to hit that first jump put of the gate, i seem to nose dive that one put the rest seem knid of easy
i'll be in chapel hill area..... pm em if you want to ride...... if i'm in a good mood we'll go hit some jumps..... anythime this weekend

He's out riding all over asheville, etc this week. Keep an eye out. He called me and was looking for stuff to ride. He was at the dirt jumps in Swannanoa and said they are pretty beat.Yesterday was the Santa Cruz ALL RIDE TOUR here in Tennessee at Haw Ridge..HARPERS bike shop host.
I got a chance to try out a BLUR XC & BLUR LT...I wanted to know before i built my recently aquired BLUR Classic up- how they rode....AMAZING is the answer ! It was wet & slippery & the BLUR's tore it up ! I was killing myself on my hardtail trying to keep up & got dropped in lot's of areas, & there was nothing i could do about it..BLUR's are fast !
To make a long story short. If you are into what Santa Cruz has to offer then go check them out & get a chance to meet Kirt Voreis & he's super cool.Guy working with him is cool too.

yeah, Greg lived in Cali until recently and came back and said that the biggest thing in Swannanoa is the first warm up jump at the smallest place in Cali.
Oh...and as for that shuttle...he wants to make that happen as a"things to do" for tomorrow.

It kinda stressed me at first b/c I was like "one of the world's nicest riders wants to know "where to ride" in Pisgah. I was up late thinkin in my head..."where do you send a guy who's ridden it all" that he'd be impressed by in Pisgah. So all you MTB celebrity stalkers, get your sharpie and digicam ready to do some trail stalking.
the puffs of dust on all the jumps in this one are the best. Makes it look like they're blowing up.
The last one is my desktop/background at the office for the moment. We stopped at Asheville pizza and brewery before heading out there. I'm surprised some of the photos turned out at all, cause the beer was tasting very good that day..
