Hey LL, If you keep the stash in the fridge is it smokable or do you need it to dry a bit after taking it out?
It stays just as dry as it was when you put it in there. I would have it in a baggie inside a glass canning jar and then put that inside a big pitcher with a top. I would take the top off the pitcher, open up the glass jar, extract my baggie for usage and then seal the jar and leave it in the 'fridge until I returned with the baggie to store it again. If you actually remove the cold glass jar from the 'fridge and have it sitting around while you smoke, condensation forms on the inside which is not a good thing. Having the baggie in hard glass in a pitcher and then the fridge kept it cool, shielded from light, airtight and kept any sift or glands from sticking to the iside of the jar due to condenation or static.

yo bro....ganja I obtain is cured for 5 days and steamed* for 2.
never any mold.
you can leave the bag in a drawer for a month and it still has a nice taste.

but when openning jars multi times the jar does get funky so i put them thru a cycle in the dishwasher a few times a year.

*steaming= having a large amount in a non-toxic bag you leave the bag open for an hour then fluff the herb up and close the bag for an hour. Repete untill the center of the buds are hard and dry but still spongy. This process draws the water from the center to the outside while the bag is closed and when it's open the outside of the ganja dries. This is a very important cycle in curing that a lot of growers omit as they lose money in water loss.

never purchase wet or funky smelling herb. Take it back and complain and demand your cash back.

yo Doubletrouble...eat the herb...don't boil it. Boiling transforms THC just like burning it does.

As far as hash goes.......Jamaican gum is likely the most powerfull solid sold in Canada. Most hash is re-pressed[garbage] from or thru Montreal. The real hash is no where near as nice as any indoor we have here. The real hash that's made in India, Pakastan, etc. is made from poor commercial grade ganja and is filled with fiber. It is the real deal sold here but it is week in comparisson to ice hash or gum that is available.
hash should sell for 10 bux a gram
this is very true and being a hash lover ive really noticed the quaility of hash going down and down over the past two years. although there is tons of good import hash its very expensive like 300-500 an ounce where as repressed is 200-280.

if your interested in hash making theres a sick video kif from the rif or reef im not sure but it documents hash making in morocco and its pretty interesting. there hash is actually quite pure but once it leaves the country......

when 911 hit Indian hash was everywhere in Toronto. You could buy either Nepalese finger hash, that was unseen for 20 years, or an assortment Lebanese and Indian. That was the only time in years I have seen REAL hash. Everything else is produced here or re-pressed. That is why I have bought Jamaican gum over the years. It is real and it is not filled with garbage.
the video says it all....lots of pretty colours and webs all over it.
You can't make sweet hash out of moldy stacked herb in a field that is covered in dirt and fecies and spider webs. I can see mites all over the ganja and the black leef is pure mold.
Hash should be made in the modern method by using ice and 9 silk screens in various thickness.
Those guys are making garbage comercial product that is destined for the USA and England. I feel sorry for anyone that smokes that toxic mess. **** like that gives herbalists a bad name.

i'd say sealed glass jar in the fridge should work fine, how long you planning to store them for?
i'm gonna turn this question over to llkoolkeg, TN, binary visions, Ciaran, T-pirate, trailblazer, or one of the serious hobbyist stoners here, and i think a couple of them used to grow, so they'll know what they're talking about.

It's been a few years since I was a serious hobbyist stoner ;).

Not specific to pot seeds, but most seeds actually don't like to be frozen. You want a completely airtight container, preferably opaque as well, and store them in your 'fridge.

Realistically, most seeds store fine in the corner of a dark closet but the refrigerator is the easiest way to ensure that they're in a low humidity environment and are kept at a constant, cool temperature.

seeds store very easily as long as they are dry. Think of King Tut's tomb opening and a seed is extracted and germinates. If it was stored in a cold, damp place[fridge] it will grow almost instantly.
Avoid the fridge for seeds but tripple bag your ganja and store it in it's own crisper.
I have stored them in film canisters and they sat in my desk drawrer for years and then were grown...........no problem.............mon.
Actually seeds are very resiliant and take a load of abuse ....untill they are germinated.

Um, a crisper is a high humidity drawer designed to keep vegetables moist. It would actually be the worst place to keep seeds.

The air inside most modern refrigerators is actually extremely dry, which is why we need things like crisper drawers for our vegetables. If it was humid, the vegatables would do just fine on their own. The cool temperature isn't going to cause the seed to germinate, and the consistency of the temperature (wherever you choose to keep it) is important.

BV is correct; a cool, dry, opaque, stable environment is ideal. In film cannisters sealed in glass canning jars with a desiccant pack(silica gel) in the fridge was how I used to do it. Every time I bought a pair of shoes, I just saved the desiccant packs for this purpose as humidity is the greatest enemy of all...even more so than light or heat.

He was also feeling no pain as he just finnished a smoking from the bamboo steamer.
Man I miss the sweet air, incredible fruits and veg, the people, blue water, ungroomed trails and organic ganja.

I got a sick belated B-day present from my G/f. A brand new one of these:

Is it very trick. Teeth are razor sharp and if ur not carefull and do too many twists you get nose powder in the bottom. Throw that **** in a tiny wooden bowl and there is your super smooth one hit high. They sell a slim 3 inch version, which can be hid up your ass crack in a hurry, which i kind of wanted.
The design is pretty cool, i actually was looking at it the other day next to the sun while tripping and i dissapeared inside of it. Luckily i got out and am O.K.
