Apparently not... I think they were forced to close down. Was it Specialized that sued them??? I don't remember.

I tried looking up Stratos and Onsport (the guys that owned them) and I couldn't get any real phone numbers.

Yeah, I believe Specialized drove the final nail into their coffin with some sort of patent lawsuit related to Brain technology.

I know there was a rumor about Specialized and a lawsuit against Stratos, but was it ever confirmed? Had Stratos actually infringed on said patent? The last thread along these lines had a lot of speculation and finger wagging but not many facts.

Nobody home.

sorry, been waiting YEARS to say that and mean it.

Sued or not, they're totally toast. gone. done.

You're pretty much on your own if you need specialty service, etc.

Keen, PM sent with the information!

NoBody, I ordered a few things in march and he told me he would still be able to get his guy to service the shocks for a while longer.

yup. sued out of business by specialized for "patent infringement", though my understanding is it has to do with xfusion making the new specialized shocks (pull one apart, the one i saw was stamped on the internals), and they used to make the seals for stratos.

hmmm... interesting read. i guess my info is totally wrong.

i really dug my el jefe and s8 though. both rode awesome and both lasted really well.

edit: and i do find it funny that mike helped design the x-fusion shocks that now effectively put him out of business.
