Watchin' you. Writing it all down.
Rained on and off all day yesterday which gave the trails a much needed bath. They were getting dusty and pulverized in sections. Some chance for storms today but still planning on a ride if they hold off or at least mostly hold off.

i might get to see what a jet engine looks like when it blows up. Then i might get to see what hysterical running in all directions looks like after a jet engine blows up. Might be fun.

Tired today- sore in the craziest of places from this weekend's race/runs, etc. Did a hell of a lot of yardwork last night - weeding, mulching, putting in a bush. Then our friend Bryna came over and did pregnancy B&W photo's with Mo and myself (& upcoming baby) last night - got a few poses of her on her Kona and the Sinister. Got them done right before the storm rolled in - can't wait to see the final result.

Tonight = baby prep work and trail bike work - new derailler on the RM and I plan to resurrect the Steelhead to it's SS status, now that I won't be needing my backup dh wheels until August!

Good Morning!

Saw some sort of moisture leaking from the sky yesterday afternoon. It had been so long since I had seen anything like that, it took me awhile to recall that it was raindrops, and not just teardrops from the weeping gods-of-the-brown-lawns. But, as quickly as it arrived.......its departure was much quicker. Two hours later, we're back to dusty clouds. Perfect weather for riding, but trying to shape any jumps or berms is a lost cause right now.

Nothing planned for the day except a little fishing this afternoon.....got the john-boat rigged up and ready to go when I leave work today. I put a full sinking line on the flyrod yesterday evening, and I'm going to try out some new bottom patterns that I tied up a couple of days ago. I hope some of these work.

Sounds like a pretty good f'ing day to me.

Good f'ing morning monkeys. Gotta do some yard work tonight, get the weed whacker out and cut down what the f'ing mower would not let me get. My dad's visiting on Friday which I'm looking forward to.

The new girl here f'ing sucks... and not in a good way, either. She can't even grasp the most basic tasks, and spends her entire day organizing and re-organizing her desk. Hell, she ordered color coded little bins to organize the different sized paperclips and binder clips

Morning. I've been sleeping like crap the past couple days, so I'm tired as well. Went out to dinner last night with the fam and then home to relax. Not much on tap for tonight either. Just trying to coast through today and tomorrow and then off to Maine Thurs. morning.

Have a good day everybody. :)

Meh. My deck hockey team got eliminated from the playoffs last night after finishing first in the regular season. :disgust1: Well, at least I'll be able to ride after work this week instead of having games. Looks like we've got a local pub to sponsor us next season. :thumb:

sounds like she'll become the new social director
Probably... she's pretty fun. As best I can ascertain, her entire life revolves around going to the movies with her 34 year old boyfriend... she is 19. And they've been dating for 2 years. You do the math.

Morning - Grilled up a nice tasty steak and ate it along with some corn and baked potatoes last night for dinner. Mighty tasty!

Tonight - Liam's last regular season baseball game - assuming the weather holds up.

Oh and I also picked up a Manitou Mars Elite fork to put on the Schwinn Rocket 88. Price was great and this fork was actually an OEM fork on the Schwinn Rocket 88 Disc frames back in 2001 so it'll be a nice complement to the frame sitting in our garage right now.

Put up a bunch of bike stuff for sale on other forums too. Hopefully I'll get some bites today or tomorrow on those items.

We still need to go back to the old style classifieds here in my opinion.

Right. So, I'm pretty sure the entire Northeastern and Northwestern sectors of the GMT-viewing crowd just went "Oh my God......she was 17 and he was 32 when they started dating--the horror! We should prosecute immediately!" Whereas those of us in the Southeastern and Midwestern areas just went, "Meh." :picsstfu:

Morning all. Busy cleaning instruments today...so fun. Now I am working on inventory repair quotes and an inventory wish list that I know is a complete waste of time because we never get any additional funding to buy instruments with. Oh well.

Last night Sq-Earl & I hit the roads and I towed Syd for a nice loop. He must look like a jerk riding along with me towing Syd :p Then we had dinner and did some work on our bikes. My poor jekyll is in serious need of love. We ordered a bunch of parts, but are still waiting for them (they were supposed to come in on Friday and didn't :( Hopefully they're delivered tonight!

I remember when I was in high school, if you played a big expensive instrument that the school lent you (I played the tuba), it was assured to be super ghetto. I remember our teacher basically hammering out a MASSIVE dent after some idiot had dropped a backpack on it.

I used to play tuba and sousaphone. When I rolled my mom's minivan I had one of the school's sousaphone's in the back. shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh (it was fine somehow)

Yeah, they're definitely ghetto! I had to use duct tape to fix a leak in my tuba right before a concert :D
