Are there any places in SoCal that allow shuttle runs?

No, but there are places where people shuttle. Having lived there, you are going to need to meet some people in the fight club to get an invite.

Actually, Noble Canyon, outside San Diego, is a well known "legal" shuttle but is more geared towards a heavy duty trail bike than true DH. Mt. Wilson, outside of Pasadina, is the same scenario

Santa Barbara you can shuttle to the top and ride down
But please wear a bell on your bike, and come to a complete stop for hikers.

We are in deep Sh*t in SB and if everyone isn't really responsible we'll loose it forever.

And even if the hikers are acting like pricks - be POLITE!!!

everyone of them is legal to shuttle. i mean seriously dirt roads were made to drive on so if you think about it shuttles are legal. the better question is which trails are legal to ride, or well thats the way that ive always looked at it, but yet again my post has no leverage here cause well im an east coast junkie.

Thank you, everyone. I ride a hardtail so some climbing isn't out of the question. I was hoping that a place like Snow Summit was around, so that I could make some midweek solo shuttle runs. I live in Thousand Oaks. Haven't ridden in Santa Barbara in ages....
