So I don't know if my head/nose is growing or WTF but my goggles don't seem to be working with my D2 anymore. Last year it was ok, but now the goggles (dragon) seem to be sitting slightly lower on my nose which is making it really hard to breathe through my nose.

I really liked those goggles too, but this is unacceptable. Anyways, I plan on bringing my helmet in to the mx shop or something to try some on...but I figured I would ask what combos you guys are using?

Since I brought the topic up...how many of you ride with sunglasses instead of goggles? I prefer that actually but after breaking two sets of glasses I decided it was too expensive :(

Oakley Crow Bars remove the pressure from the nose. I found them a big improvement. I was running dragons prior.

The Smith Pistons have been working well for the past 2 seasons, Oakleys work as well, I like the Smith the best. You will find many that work better than the Dragons.

I tried spys alloy, oakley o-frames, dragons and smith warps and all had the same problem with a D2

I found a bit of trimming the plastic around the nose area made them work alot better. Also, pulling out the foam around the area can me a bit of a difference as well.

I find oakley o-frames fit very comfortably with my D2. No pressure on nose and looks nice and neat in the helmet too.

It's probably dependant on helmet size / head size / face profile, so your best bet would be to take the helmet with you to a moto shop that stocks a few brands and try a few on.

I tried the spy magneto and spy alloys too and wasn't in love with the fit of either, but who knows... YMMV

No problems with Oakley Crowbars (or the O Frames). Tried Spy's before and those did not work.

smith pistons, fuels, warp's, warp ti's, a few of the moto series goggles, hell my 2 pairs of prodigy goggles, and a rando set of jet ski racing goggles i have all fit my d2's and face perfectly and all vary in size and shape. your best bet is grab your helmet and go to a big shop with lots of selection and try EVERYTHING

I'd have to veeto the utopia and d2 fit. My slayer MXes take a little bit of work to get in there, and if I don't get them just right they fell like they're blocking my nose. The Too Dirtys look like they'd fit in a D2 better.

For the record utopias pushed on my nose as well.

If you can't run Spy Alloys with a D2, you need to go see a Doc pronto and ask him why your head is shaped so funny.
It could be serious.:twitch:
Everyone has a different face. The cutout area on the D2 is smallish, combined with large googles that usually just fit in the view port = a tight fit. If your nose is 5mm higher then it gets crushed.

exactly... best thing to do is get a friends goggle, or go to a shop & try them on for yourself... i've got riders who both wear the same size D2's & feel that the other goggle fits in their helmet better (Utopia Slayer vs Too Dirty). For me, i think the slayer fits fine... but iv'e got a big noggin ;-)
