I've seen that frame its got a sick paint job! Its got a tiki god thing on the head tube, right? Porters are fun, I've got one as well.

yeah thats the one, the guy who painted it is crazy good. i dont know who the guy who built it up was but thankful that he did, and then decided to sell it. yeah i havent got a chance to ride it much, but from the little experience i have i like it a lot. i just want to convert it to a ss now then it should be even better
Converting Porters to SS can be kinda funky. I ended up using a shadow half-link chain and a 32:13 gearing. Kinda stiff, but you pick up speed fast... and it doesn't require a goofy tensioner. I tried the tensioner route at first and it was nothing but noise and trouble.
