Is there a zoobomb/urban DH group in Seattle? I just read about it on wikipedia in Portland, and it sounds awesome....

PM me, or post if you would want to get a group together

I'm thinking Queen Anne to Space Needle races :)

I am so there. I miss Zoobombing. The bummer is that we don't have a MAX train to get us to the top of the hill. But I'm sure we could figure something out.

Though really, Zoobombing isn't really about racing ;-) And we'd have to get our own name.

I think the Dead Baby Race is the closest thing in Seattle, and rumor is that they have rides besides the Dead Baby. I've just been too lazy to look into it. Maybe this thread will inspire me.

Which reminds me - must finally do the Dead Baby Race this year. August 3rd. Details here - http://deadbabybikes.org/race****/racenow.htm. Anybody else in?

Would be cool but much harder as you dont have the max train that everyone could hop on. There used to be some cool jump in the woods coming down from the zoo there.

The majority of zoobombing takes place on minibikes, not dh bikes. One of the great things about Portland is we have the MAX which is a train that goes through the city and stops at the top of one of the biggest hills. This makes zoobombing really easy by eliminating the need to ride to the top or shuttle in another way.

This sounds interesting...I'll be honest.

but I'm a little unclear as to what exactly this event/race is.

haha alright.

I saw we make it a race from top to bottom, stunts off stairs and drops encouraged!
