The 802
about 1/3 of the center knobs, so they are essentially the same height as a normal tire. they end up having a similar profile to minion dhf's when you're done, just with more of an edge.

i've used them this way 3 times this year in fresh loam, diablo in the mud, and mt. snow in the wet grass. . . i'm a fan.

schlad had about every corner, that wasn't in the trees or on a grass slope,
bermed. so he could ride out of the brake bumps and ruts
in the grass in a few key areas holding a ton a speed.

i talked to CVD about what you learn at world cups and how fast an
anerican could get just living over here. there still human over there
but they tend to just "think" more about racing.

thats the best way to clip the knobs a knife or some type of clipper?
My arsenal of tire mod tools were always a small pair of wire clippers, big pair and a flat pair (I called em my hammerheads, dont know what technical term was)....and a elec tire groover.
Never a knife, but might be good for other people.

this was the first track i didn't ever get dialed. i did like 8 runs and
never got this jump. it has brake bumps into it and it was super big.
i was afraid i would slip a pedal into it with the bumps or after in the
HUGE bumps going into the next berm. if i had some friends there to
egg me on i would have.

i also gather that based on what that shimano dude said about the new deraileurs they will finally catch up to what sram figured out at least ten years ago and get rid of that stupid pivot inside the knuckle that houses the bolt that mounts the deraileur to the frame......if this is the case, shimano may shift pretty well, and be alot quieter from here on out......it's about F'in time
