hey, im visiting from out of town and went to ride sst today, but the parking lot and trail to the trails was closed due to construction. is there any other way back and place to park other than the valley below the penitentiary? also, where is softies in relation to all this? thanks

There is an entrance from 216th, but if they closed the main lot, they probably closed that as well. The sign thats been sitting there for a few weeks said that it'd be closed "June - October" or something like that. I rode there on sunday and it was still open. Odd that they'd close it now.

If you are going down the hill past the Pen, keep going past the parking lot and take a right just after the golf course. You can park along that road anywhere.
You used to be able to get through the fence directly across the road from there but they might have done some work to the fence. That is how we always got in but its been over a year since I have been there.

i drove by there tonite and the main entrance is def. a no-go. i then drove around to 216th street (i think) to what i believe is the south end of the park and there were signs all over the fence saying "no trespassing" and that you need some type of badge to enter that area. so has anyone ridden there in the last few days? i can't believe this hasn't caused more of an uproar on this board. whats wrong with you people??????????? i thought sst was where it was at........
People probly still go in there regardless of the sign, that would be a good reason why theres no up roar...

i was there yesterday i rode i saw nothing didn't really look around either just went to the flow park rode a couple laps and bailed no one else was there but a group of XC gys showed up when i was leaving.
I went last night and met a couple of people. We were the only ones there though. You've gotta look for some holes in the fence.
That was my first time at SST. Fun place. Too bad it's such a ****ty drive from Kirkland after work.
