It's a Meyers. I bought it used in 1976 for $30 or something like that; It came to my attention Saturday because it stopped providing water. A new set of leathers and some gasket fabrication got it going again. It's an amazingly simple and reliable machine.
The awesome part is trying to find or salvage parts... It's also nice to have machines simple enough so that diagnosis and repair once every ten years or so is simple.
That explains a lot. JBP isn't really 80 years old.... the lord knows whatever is leaching out of that pump and into his water has totally wrecked him.
