Ouch...that websites' background was just about to induce vomitting...they just threw up their 08 line
pisses me off cuz i just ordered an 07 ecd
yea looks like they make a small medium and large for 08, they're doin a good job. the one thing i dont understand is why they run mis-match parts like the funn stem and bars and kmc chain when everything else is sram and their team is all sram, not a big deal, just funnyIf they are seriously making a large ECD then I'm all over it.
Funn is a team sponsor. The KMC chain is a common thing. KMC has better OEM prices, so the product managers spec them alot. Save a few buck on the bike, which adds up in the end.yea looks like they make a small medium and large for 08, they're doin a good job. the one thing i dont understand is why they run mis-match parts like the funn stem and bars and kmc chain when everything else is sram and their team is all sram, not a big deal, just funny
It's been 64.5 since the bike came out. Never had a problem with it. Haven't heard anyone else mention it being an issue.dang 64 HA!!
Whaaaa that is slack....
Maybe too slack...I dunno?
yeah, no.......when you see one of these things up close you'll fall in love with the frame.
and for what reason besides dwlink? the spec list on the mongoose is out of this world for the price, and the geo is dialedi would rather get a 2008 iron horse sunday expert for the same price
3300 i believe, same or close to last yearsdoes anyone know the price for the the EC-D frame?
thats for the complete, the frame was 1500 last year, its probably close to the same this year3300 i believe, same or close to last years
what would an idler do for this frame?high pivot at least, pitty you can't weld up the floating bottom bracket ga gah and whack and idler on it.
not sure on the 08, i think i might have to wait til january or februaryDope trev... whens the ETA?
it was half in jest,I stated that if you pissed off the I-Drive(whatever it's called)by welding it all up,then you'd need an idler to stop the chain pulling the swingarm/back wheel down affectivley locking out the suspension.I can see more point in the drive system on the Goose with the high pivot than I can on the GT where the pivot is just above the chain and top of chain ring. Just forget it,it was stupid.what would an idler do for this frame?
I've got an 05, that was ECs before it was mine, so far no issues at all. I know on the couple that i've heard of, it was bent hardware not bearings. I do believe there are some changes to the bearing/hardware for 08.Anyone had one of these for a season or two who can comment on durability of the bearings and such?
