Hihihihi :p

Man shrymp, those are good 1's!

The 9th one down looks so painful without any armour...

My own klutziness that Jonathan Lomber was kind enough to catch in sequence:

Minorthreat... I ride an asx with a 40 for dh too, lol, I know it's hard to hold the line on them sometimes.

Why were people nose diving it? Wierd lip?

Keep em flowin, they are some really good crashes...

Videos welcome too.

This isn't a good thread for me to be reading. I'm out with a separated shoulder, the 4 crashes prior to the shoulder all netted me a lasting injury, my bud just trashed his ankle and a wrist prior to that, an insane BMXer and all around great guy I greatly admired just died... I'm feeling awfully mortal right now.
Any of you guys ever hit a point where you feel like you need to just stop. Step back. Take a DEEP breath and then start all over from the beginning? I'm so twitched out on everything right now. I feel like even a simple berm is out to get me...

Here's the guy who jacked up his ankle...well...jacking up his ankle. Overshooting the tranny for a 15 ish sized drop. This is SUPPOSED to be the roll/drop in for a future step-up to the run in for a creek gap. But I think we're gonna have problems with the lip eroding too quickly. So just another huck it will be...sigh...
He was SUPPOSED to stop pedalling before he ducks under the tree limb...

Ouch. Ledges is brutal. I bet you were glad you wore your armor mike!

Here is a spill I took about 2 weeks ago qualifying for slalom at Mt Snow. My front end washed out and well... you can see the rest. End result is a broken collarbone.

Nice pictures guys!

Thrillseeka, I know what it feels like to loose friends that ride. I hope your shoulder feels better, and try to look on the brighter side of things, I mean, at least for me, I think I would go insane without access to 2 wheels.

PS: My pressure suit increases levels of confidence for me : )

That sequence is really rad psp.

Caballero... perfect timing!

Why did I read this thread!?!? I'm just getting into MB at 37. I have a job where I need all of my arms and legs.... Do I really want to risk these kinds of injury? Argh....

I'll post some of the wrecks I've shot, but none of them are this heinous!

So. Dak.
That is 2 totally different vids. The first, the youtube one, he went off to the left, and there was no ladder for a take off. He also hit the tree upright. The second, the 60 minutes one, he went off to the right, and hit the tree upside-down. :bonk:
there's an article about it too thats on one of the first couple pages of this thread. i dont think he died.

thats me...not so nice...
Still clipped in??? OUCH. This is one of the reasons a fear riding clipless in downhill. I could see me getting hooked up in a rock garden and staying attatched...

PS: Sam Hill doesn't ride clipless :brows:
Plus I freeride more

Christ yeah, they're not even wearing the same jersey! The Ben kid in the MSN vid is just that, a kid. In a Brown Tshirt on a red bike, the guy that died was a heavy set older guy(older than the kid anyway) in a bright green freakin jersey and ate it on the left side of the run-out and I don't think he left from a ladder, just dirt.
