I LOVE Bontrager big earl saddles. Fairly strong, and have replaceable rails just in case your bike tumbles. I'm a cheap bastard and I purchased it retail, so it has to be fairly affordable. $30 I believe. Check it out.

the ultimate low pro saddle. i dont have any idea on the price but its lopro and it lookes excellent.[/QUOTE]

the Tioga is awesome, but comes in around $110.

the Funn looks like a great choice at $30. for those of us who are style challenged, is the camo cool or is it 2005?

Any saddle that models after the Selle Italia SLR. There are many out there. Velo makes most the knock-offs. I'm running a Felt Carbon saddle that comes on a lot of the Felt bikes, and that has the same profile as the SLR, just a little heavier, and different rails. The Funn seat models the profile, but is super stiff and uncomfortable. Not really much flex.

I like my funn saddel. Its nice and low profile and is comfortable enough to sit down on during long pedaling sections. The black one doesnt look bad in person.

I've used a Velo saddle this year, it's almost identical to some of the Sunline saddles and the Funn saddles posted earlier in the thread. Seems as Velo makes saddles for a lot of companies out there.
Well, the Velo is nice and light, fairly ok to sit on, but the edges are very sharp and have caused painful rides and left bruises all over the insides of my thighs. Maybe I'm too fat, but IMO it's not a very good saddle for DH.

There is also a Selle San Marco Ponza (K) saddle out there that is on a few of the bikes in my shop. I really like it, and an co-worker of mine has one that he said if he doesn't like it, he'd give it to me. The K version is all slippery on the outer part of the saddle so you can move the bike easily under neath you, but the center is textured and grippy, so when your sitting, you won't slide around. I think it may only be OEM, but I really want one.
