No Hopes? Moving over to the dark side that is mass produced, non-cnc machined Taiwanese brakes?
Yeah i wanted to save a few bucks and maybe have the option to get some help at races if ever needed.
The avid juicy carbon are 100g heavier A PIECE than the old IS standard mono4s though (mostly because of the adapter i guess).

Yeah I think I'll have to go back to hopes eventually.. these mono4s were just perfect!

11.5lbs with the steel spring I recall. Something in that range. I hope to get below 39lbs after I go through my winter program speed hole drill, titanium swap, carbon replace diet :banghead:
39.5 lbs is a fine weight though espcially without an air fork!

Actually it's my second one! I had one in 2004/2005. All I could think of when I was on my 303 was how much more I liked my Cuervo so I am back to my first love! You got to use what works for you!!

Maybe if you make it light enough, it will learn to jump for you....

Nice ride!
But I´m not to sure about that seat.. However, doing your own seat-thing is kinda cool.

Thanks! That's awesome. I had no idea so many people would go for it ;)

I don't know if I am more impressed by how many people believe this was the actual seat or by the fact that people actually would have respected this choice!

Anyway, the seat is back on the cruiser I took it from for the photos ;)

NICE rig Manni! - Candy Apple Red right?

That is one pimp... wait a sec...

WTF?

C'mon now... what's the deal with the seat?

Also: You're running 07 823's with Minion UST correct?

Have you run this set up before, and if so how has it held up? (Given your weight, and how rocky the terrain is)

I have no idea what you're talking about

Seriously though. How can you guys really think I could run that seat!!!

(I was waiting for a Thomson masterpiece and grabbed the seat from one of the chreap cruisers we have at work!... Which I finally got so it is ready!!)

I ran 823 for 4 years now. The first gen was on the lighter side but the new gen is really solid. I have a plow style and it holds up to the rocky trails around here (I am 162 lbs) So yeah it's ok I'd say!

I have my Curevo down to 40lbs on the dot at one point. They are super light if you build them right(that rhymed).

Mani, I missed you in Whistler, I rode with Luc and he said you left a few hours before.
