The Royal race shorts are the most comfy shorts I've ever owned, but they are really expensive.
ROGUE shorts have been really great to me too. Those and the Royals are all I wear now.

i love the set of moto shorts that i got back in 06. although i have heard excellent things about the spectra shorts so i think either way you go your going to get an excellent pair of ridding shorts.

I wish Fox still made the Demo race short. Mine are perfect. Simple, lightweight, durable. If I hadn't torn them trying to race an eight year old girl down a concrete toboggan run I wouldn't have had the need to buy any other shorts...
